May is Speech and Hearing Awareness Month!

Membership Drive

This month we are kicking off a membership drive to increase our number of formal members in Alberta Hands & Voices. Having registered and paid members is critical to our ongoing success. As a non-profit organization, we are dependent upon registration fees, grants, and other donations in order to function. Certain grants and fundraising opportunities have minimum membership requirements to qualify, which we currently do not meet.

That’s why we need your help!

Annual dues are $25/family or $40/professional. With a paid membership, you will receive the Hands & Voices quarterly newsletter, The Communicator as well as free admission to Alberta H&V events, including our Calgary family picnic scheduled for this September. In addition, all new or renewal memberships this month will be entered into a prize draw. Our goal is to have 25 new memberships activated this month!

Scholarships are available to anyone who cannot afford the membership dues.
