Alarmtech to install a simple security system in her
home. Alarmtech would like to share the pictorial diary,
Cheryl made, of the procedures during the installation.

Terry starts by running a cable in the basement.

Then he catches the cable upstairs. . .

Next Terry installs the upstairs motion sensor (5800PIR-RES) . . .

Terry stops to program the keypad, conferring with Sue in our office.

Then Terry gets busy installing the rear & front door contacts (5816-WMWH).
Door contacts are complete!(invisible door contacts also available—see next slide)

Most people choose the recessed door contact—it doesn’t mar the beauty/look

Finally, Terry connects a UPS system (EN600) to the internet (to support the alarm
during a power outage).

Cheryl is very happy to have a home security system! (and because it’s run via the
internet it includes Total Connect).
