Mall2Go offers a broad assortment of in-trend items with special focus on skincare products from around the world. So we created some modern graphical girls images instead of the real models photos to attract customers. Inflight Sales Group highly value their customers and always look to provide innovative solutions and most importantly financial growth for them. And therefore for this project we bring out the core ISG values with motion graphics, allowing their customers to understand ISG customer promises and what they can bring to the table.

Work-life balance
While workplace flexibility has evolved beyond helping only women returning from maternity leave, it seems Hong Kong still needs to catch up with the rest of the developed world. Jemelyn Yadao finds out the impact such arrangements have on CPAs and the challenges firms face
BENDING TIME Illustrations by Alan Ho
F or Angela Yeung, workplace flexibility was once a strange concept that brought her almost nothing but trouble. Yeung, partner at K K Yeung Partnership, a small CPA firm, remembers the book-
ing of client meetings being more burdensome than nec-essary during the time her workmate – the firm’s first mother – was working part time.
“I found it difficult as a colleague,” says Yeung, a member of the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs. “I always had to look at her schedule first as well as the boss’ schedule. So it was difficult to fix meetings with clients.”
Today, Yeung is the firm’s third mum and a strong be-liever that workplace flexibility played an integral role in helping her manage both the demands of work and home during and after her pregnancy.
The company she works for has joined the many worldwide that offer support to employees in need of working arrangements that allow them more flexibility as to when and where they work.
Companies in Hong Kong, however, generally lag behind developed-world standards when it comes to of-fering staff enough workplace flexibility. Only 36 per-cent of workers in Hong Kong work remotely for at least half a week, compared to the global average of 48 per-cent, according to a report released in September by Regus, a company that provides office space.
Institute members who have worked in the United Kingdom and Australia, for example, note that compa-nies in those countries tend to have more established work flexibility schemes (see “How to be more flexible” on page 36).
