UPDATED! Cottage AdoptionMcKown Village is the new campus for Food and Shelter for Friends. There are 32 tiny homes (cottages) for families and/or individuals. We have adopted a family unit (Unit 21). We are furnishing the cottage, and we need the following items: Book shelf (36"x 12"); 1 small chest of drawers; patio chairs (set of 2); coffee mugs (set of 4); scissors; paper towel holder; plastic sealable containers for sugar, flour, and coffee We will accept used items as long as they are in good condition from smoke-free homes. We also need other household items. We need these items by Monday, July 3rd. If you would like to donate, see John Helton after worship or contact him at (405) 659-5864, [email protected]
NEW! A Helping HandThe purpose of “A Helping Hand” is to connect people who have a need with those who can fulfill that need. Check out the board in the cafe area if you have a need (you need a dryer, a bed, a lawn mowed, etc.) or if you have something to donate (a couch, baby clothes, or a service to offer—mow a lawn, change the oil in a car, etc.). Fill out the appropriate card and pin it to the board. Current needs: Full size bed (box springs & mattress) and a couple interested in mentoring a young couple in life skills.
