Alzayani Investments Becomes An Official Sponsor of BIC

Alzayani Investments has joined other companies as an officialsponsor of the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) for a renewable period of three years. A contract has been signed during a Press conference between BIC acting Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Salman bin Isa AlKhalifa and AlZayani Investments Managing Director Mr Nawaf Khalid AlZayani. Mr AlZayani expressed his happiness on joining the BIC as an official sponsor to support the circuitwhich is considered

one of the leading tourism and sports landmarks in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He added that the groupbelieved that through its support to the BIC and car sports the mutual interests of both parties in fulfillingdevelopment plans would be achieved. Shaikh Salman also expressed his happiness about Alzayani Investments joining as official partners ofthe BIC and hailed the group’s interest in promoting BIC activities and events. He also affirmed that thepartnership between the two parties would contribute in realizing the BIC board’s plans to popularize and promote car sports in the Kingdom as well as the region.

This initiative was a response to the valuable speech delivered by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at a gathering of representatives from Bait Al Tijjar, where HRH expressed his views that time has come to benefit fromthe major financial sacrifice madeby businessmen by way of paying levies imposed on them.At the commercial level, the Company has continued to sign agreements with Asian countries, such as China and Singapore, involving new ranges of cars and dealerships.There are many other developments as well as achievements made by the Group since the beginning of this year that I wish Al Intilaqa readers to know through this newsletter.

Rolls-Royce took part in the Ceremonial Signing of the Ritz Carlton Marina Management and Water Sports concession agreement between ART Marine Bahrain and the Ritz Carlton Bahrain that took place at the Ritz-Marina on the 12th January 2010. Hyundai Develops Its First Gasoline Direct Injection Engine

First Motors support The annual Environmental Treasure Huntre Hunt First Motors, the exclusive and authorised dealers of Hyundai Motors in Bahrain, supported the annual Environmental Treasure Hunt organised on December 4, 2009. The company financed the contest and also took part in it through a team. The event was aimed at raising funds through companies to protect the environment and nature.

Zayani Motors, the authorized dealers of Mitsubishi in the Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the Indian School fair that was held from the 21st- 22nd January, 2010.
