WHAT IS GOOGLE CHROME?

WHAT IS GOOGLE CHROME? Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with Sophisticate technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

At Google, we spend much of our time working inside a browser. We search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser.

HISTORY OF GOOGLE CHROMEGoogle Chrome is a web browser released by

GOOGLE which uses the webkit layout engine and application framework.

The name is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or "chrome", of web browsers.

It was first released as a beta version for microsoft windows on 2 September 2008,

Task manager: Chrome has its own Task Manager that shows you how much memory and CPU usage each tab and plug-in is using.

One box for search, address, and history: Instead of having separate input boxes for the search bar and the address bar, Google has united the two in Chrome.

Upgraded tabs: In Chrome you can drag a tab into its own window, and drag it back to the main window. This is called “Dynamic Tabs.

New support for Web applications: Current Web applications include Google Docs, Salesforce.com, and Outlook Web Access.

Incognito browsing: Chrome includes an Incognito mode in which users can go to sites but nothing from that session — history, form fields, or cookies ----will be saved in Chrome.

Google chrome contains its own task manager in that, we can see the options like, memory, cpu, network.

It has a very simple design, which allows us to browse faster than any internet browser out there.

CRONS OF GOOGLE CHROMEMissing status bar: Although chrome claims

to be of high speed, there are slow sites where status bar helps you know that something is being done by the browser.

Missing the search bar. The address bar does both the things for you. Although it is a new approach and could be very helpful once you become used to it but could be annoying sometimes.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOGLE AND GOOGLE CHROME……Google is a company that makes a search engine that is referred to as Google. A search engine is a website that allows to find other webpage by typing as keyword.

Google Chrome is a web browser made by Google. A Web Browser is a tool that lets you view other webpage, including the Google search engine.

CONCLUSION:Google Chrome is still in beta release and

may have a few bugs to work out, but overall it's a lightweight browser designed for the latest web designs and tools.

It addresses the memory leak problems of other browsers by building a browser from the ground up, using innovative technology.
