tvs projectTRANSCRIPT
This project is A.K.GANDHI TVS SERVICING CENTER. Because is the important part of life. The world is going through fundamental changes. The ongoing advance in computer and communication technology to have a profound effect on the way people work and play.
The project is developed and designed for mobile management .the project has been developed in different forms and each form plays a significant role in the project. The project has been developed to maintain all the details regarding the mobile registration and payment details.
The system maintains and stores the information about mobiles. By use of computer we can get the daily stock report, total sales report, purchase report, details of stock items. All those are done at the very short period.
This developing system will make a better control and gain access to more up-to-date information .hence a design of a system to capture data, update records and produce report is necessary .it helps in finding out:
the necessary information
the flow of information
the storing of information
the efficiency of the system
The nature of work has been redefined. Today, much of our society realizes information systems technology, either directly or indirectly to “work smarter”.
Computerization of a mobile is more easily and more organized method of information management and information product. The process of the mobile by using the computerized system is one of the best solutions for avoiding confusion.

INTRODUCTION
Computer has proved to be more accurate & it can be used as an important tool for such complex problem. The system software should be user friendly, flexible, provide computerizable reporting features and enables the software to work in an interactive environment. Today, our ability to build information systems that meet user needs is better and perfect.
Objective of the project: -
To require less number of staff to cater more vehicles in same time or even in less time.
Get the choice to re-deploy them at other suitable location.
Two wheeler servicing center not only provides service to the customer but also it increases the profitability of company.
Two wheeler servicing center gives proper satisfaction to the customer.
To render services by taking care of customers vehicle and as well as there personal record.
To reduce manual errors by using of this two wheeler servicing software.
Billing process is faster and perfect.

OBJECTIVES
To provide a better service to the customer. The work of making of most of the customer at a time is easily done by computerized system.
The purpose of this document is to detail the functional requirement for the
“SERVICING CENTER” in a system.
In this stage the salesperson takes a qualified prospect through a series of question and answer sessions in order to identify the requirements of the prospect. During this step, the salesperson will attempt to help the buyer identify and quantify a business need or a "gap" between where the client is today and where they would like to be in the future. Based on that gap, needs can be clarified to determine if the solution will fill all, or part of the overall gap.
It is intended to establish the functional scope of the application in sufficient detail to enable us
to develop the system with the requirement of any modern services.
It is also intended to be used eventually by the system developers to validate system
requirement as detailed design and build activities progress.
In Servicing Center while handling data, persons get tired completely. In servicing center all
work is done manually, which is completely complicated and time consuming.
In Servicing Center the maintenance of the stock as well as generating the daily stock report is
very difficult.
We need a computerized system because by use of this software we can get the daily stock report,
purchase report, details of item.

IDENTIFICATION OF NEED
One of the difficult tasks of the system analyst is to identify the problems in the existing
system. Without clear understanding of the problems in present system any further work will lead
wastage of a time.
Alternatives are the personal interaction and it is the oldest method of preliminary
investigation.
For collecting the information about “Servicing Center”. As we started collecting
information about servicing center we were went to A.K. GANDHI TVS, the manager provided
information about there servicing center how the work is to be done, And he told what kind of
services render to the customer to there extent.
The process of collecting Data for servicing center is as follows:-
1. Maintenance of servicing center.
2. Employee record.(Manager,clerk,supervisor,mechanic,etc)
3. Employee salary .(Manager,clerk,supervisor,mechanic,etc)
4. Profit, Bonus, Incentives
5. Employee insurance
6. Updating record of accessories

PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION
The conversion of manual system into a computerized system “A.K.GANDHI TVS
SERVICING CENTER” software is a better way to kept record.
Technical feasibility :-
Technical feasibility centers around the existing computer system i.e. hardware,
software etc. the system requirement that are required for implementing the system can be
fulfilled by the requirement.
Economical feasibility:-
The regarding the time, we know that the “time is money “we wasting time is
wasting money. The cost installing the project is not more. Once installed the project gives
the long term benefit.
Operational feasibility :-
The computerized system is operationally more efficient than the manual system at
“Mobile Shops”. The computerized system is more helpful in improving the standard of
service.

FEASIBILITY STUDY
The world is going through fundamental changes. The ongoing advances in computer and communication technology to have a profound effect on the way people work and play.
The project is developed and designed for Servicing Center. The project has been developed in different forms and each form plays a significant role in the project. The project has been developed to maintain all details regarding registration and payment details.
In Servicing Center while handling the data, a person gets tired completely. The staffs in the servicing center mostly do work manually, which are complicated and consuming in manual system.
We need a computerized system because by use of computers we can get the staff report, customer report, vehicle report in details.
There are several advantages of computerization over manual system, which are as follows:-
Saves time & energy. Quick retrieval of information. Less use of paperwork. Minimum misplacement of records.

NEED OF NEW SYSTEM
In my project I have used the VISUAL BASIC 6.0 & MS-ACCESS. VISUAL BASIC 6.0 as Front End & M.S.ACCESS as Back End.
Whenever a system is developed it can be implemented either on a large scale, medium scale or small scale. This particular project falls under the category of application program also termed as an application package, which is a set of one or more program to design to carry out operation for a specified application. It belongs to the third party category at the initial stage, but a be implemented on a large scale once it is successful in organization. By the word successful I mean to say if the application runs smoothly in every field
Front End: Visual Basic 6.0:-
A programming language and environment developed by Microsoft. Based on the BASIC language, Visual Basic was one of the first products to provide a graphical programming environment and a paint metaphor for developing user interfaces. Instead of worrying about syntax details, the Visual Basic programmer can add a substantial amount of code simply by dragging and dropping controls, such as buttons and dialog boxes, and then defining their appearance and behavior.
Although not a true object-oriented programming language in the strictest sense, Visual Basic nevertheless has an object-oriented philosophy. It is sometimes called an event-driven language because each object can react to different events such as a mouse click.
Since its launch in 1990, the Visual Basic approach has become the norm for programming languages. Now there are visual environments for many programming languages, including C, C++, Pascal, and Java. Visual Basic is sometimes called a Rapid Application Development (RAD) system because it enables programmers to quickly build prototype applications.
Back End:-MS Access:-
Microsoft Office Access, previously known as Microsoft Access, is a relational database management system from Microsoft that combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software development tools. It is a member of the 2007 Microsoft Office system.
Access can use data stored in Access/Jet, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or any ODBC-compliant data container (including MySQL). Skilled software developers and data architects use it to develop application software. Relatively unskilled programmers and non-programmer "power users" can use it to build simple applications. It supports some object-oriented techniques but falls short of being a fully object-oriented development tool.
7 (A.K.GANDHI TVS)
PROJECT CATEGORY
Access was also the name of a communications program from Microsoft, meant to compete with ProComm and other programs. This proved a failure and was dropped. Years later Microsoft reused the name for its database software.
ACCESSS: - Access is an electronic data base management system its purpose is to help you collect, retrieve and present data for e.g.- with a company personal data base you may want to collect data about new customer (name address, telephone no. etc.)
Database: -A database is a collection of information that’s related to a particular subject or purpose, such as tracking customer order or maintaining a music collection. If your database isn’t stored on a computer, or only parts of it are, you may be tracking information from a variety of sources that you have to co-ordinate and organize yourself.
Objects of access database:-
Tables: - a table is collection of data a specific topic, such as products or suppliers. Tables are the fundamental structures in an access database because it stores the data you will be managing. Using separate table for each topic means that you store that data only once, which makes your database more efficient, and reduces data entry errors.
Queries: - a query is a tool for asking questions about data in you tables and for performing action for data. Queries can answer question such as how many Customer live in Nagpur and what are their names and telephones number .you use queries to view, change and analyze data in different ways you can also use them as source of record for form, report, and data access pages.
Forms: - Forms let you display and enter data in a convenient format that look like a fill in the blank form. Yours form can be plan and simple or quite elaborate with graphics, line and automatic lookup features that make data entry quick and easy. Forms can even include other that let you enter data into several tables at once.
Report: - a report is an effective way to present your data in a printed format. Because you have control over the size and appearance everything on a report, you can display the information the way you want to see it.
Macros: - a macro is set of one or more action that each performs a particular operation, Such as opening a form or printing a report. Macros can help you to automate common tasks. For example, you can run a macro that prints a report when a user clicks a command button.
Modules: - a module is a collection of visual basic for application declaration and procedures that are stored together as a unit. Like macros, modules allow you to automate & customize access.
Primary key: - once or more field (columns) whose value or values uniquely identify each record in a table. A primary key cannot allow null values and must always have a unique index. A primary key is used to relate a table to foreign key in other tables.

FORM MODULE: - The form that you see on screen is a representation of the properties that defines appearance and behavior of the components placed on it. For each form of an application there is a related form module with the file name extension (.frm) that contains its code. Each form module contains events, procedures which are sections of codes where you place the instructions that will execute in response to specific events, forms can contain control, for each control on a form there is a corresponding set of event, procedures in the form module. In addition to events, procedures form modules can contain general procedures that are executed in response to a call from any event, procedure. To add a new form to the project, from the project menu select the option “Add Form”, select the type of the form and click on OPEN Button.

IMPLEMENTATION :-
Implementation is activity considered as conversion of old system into new system. The
term system implementation is defined as the conversion of design and coded system into
actual operation.
EVALUATION: -
The system approach to recognized that whether the implementation solution is failed to
solve the problem for which it was develop i.e. it means whether the implementation needs
which its objectives or not . If not the system approaches will back to first step to find the
other solution.
MAINTENANCE :-
Maintenance covers the wide range of activities including correcting coding and design
errors updating documentation, rest data and upgrading user support.
