UAE Free Zone – Ajman Company Proposal (AFZA)

CREATIVE ZONE is a service designed for entrepreneurs, consultants and business start-ups that may not initially require a physical office, but need the support of one; who wish to incorporate a UAE Free Zone company with minimum investment and flexibility, without compromising on quality and prestige. With CREATIVE ZONE you are able to enjoy all the benefits of a UAE Free Zone Company without the usual costs and constraints, along with a wide range of support services that will not only enable your company to have the best possible start but also ensure continued support as you grow. 1.0 Benefits of Ajman Free Zone

1. Cost - Low Startup Costs of just AED 17,500, your initial outlay to form your new company.

2. Trade License Released within 24 hours - Your trade license can be released on the same day the

application is made.

3. No Attested Degree Certificates Required - Attested degree certificates are not required for Commercial/General Trading activities and some professional license activities.

4. Over 60’s are able to obtain visas - Company owners over the age of 60 can qualify for UAE residence visas.

5. Faster Visa Processing - UAE residence visas can be processed within 4-7 working days

6. Fewer Nationality issues – thanks to Ajman Immigration’s visa pre-approval process, nationalities that may have faced issues in other emirates are able to submit an application for visa pre-approval without incurring the costs of the company setup or having to cancel their current visa.

2.0 Types of Licenses

A) Commercial Trading License - Allows the client to import, export, distribute, consolidate and store items specified in the license. This is limited to 1 activity/product (for additional products/activities the cost is AED 1,800 per product/activity, with a limit of up to 3 activities/products).

B) General Trading License - Allows the client to import, export, distribute, consolidate and store items of a diversified, unlimited and unrelated number of products (multiple products).

C) Professional License - Allows the client to carry out the business activity of providing professional consultancy services i.e. business consultancy, management consultancy, marketing consultancy etc.

3.0 Types of Company structures

New Entity: 1. Free Zone Establishment FZE: A new business entity with 1 shareholder (can be an individual or a company) 2. Free Zone Company FZC: A new business entity, with 2 or more shareholders (can be individuals or companies)

Branch: 1. Local Branch: A branch of an existing firm in the UAE, not less than 1 year. 2. Foreign Branch: A branch of an existing firm outside the UAE, not less than 1 year old

6.0 Process

7.1 Capital Requirement

You will be required to present a bank statement to AFZA, within 60 days of setting up your company, showing the equivalent of USD $50,000 either in the name of the company or the name/s of the shareholder from any bank in the world. Should you wish, CREATIVE ZONE can facilitate the same to cover the necessary capital requirements for a fee of AED 1,500.

8.0 Visa Costs

Under this proposal you are eligible for 2 UAE Residence Visas with 3 years validity

Owners/Shareholders:

6.0 Timelines

DAY 1 Submit application to CREATIVE ZONE and make payment. DAY 2 Company name reservation carried out at Ajman Free Zone (AFZA) by CREATIVE ZONE (CZ) DAY 2 Your dedicated telephone number is activated and the details sent to you via email. DAY 3 Arrive at CZ Offices at 9am to be taken to AJZA by CZ representative to sign company incorporation

documents in front of a Free Zone official DAY 5 Trade License released by the Free Zone and scanned copy of the original will be sent to you via

email DAY 6 Original Trade License and Company Stamp available for collection at CZ offices DAY 6 Make payment for Company Establishment Card DAY 9 Company Establishment Card, Chamber of Commerce Certificate and Articles of Incorporation*

(only applicable for FZC’s i.e. 2 or more shareholders, FZE’s i.e. one shareholder companies will not receive Articles of Incorporation) are available at the CZ offices for collection. You may apply for your visa and set up your company bank account at this point.

DAY 9 Complete and submit visa application forms and attested degree certificate (if applicable) and UAE

ID Card information (if applicable) to CZ and make payment

DAY 15 Entry Visa issued (Pink Colored Visa) and a copy emailed to you

Should you be outside the country when the visa is issued, please provide us with your flight details so we can drop your visa at the airport for a fee of AED 200

DAY 16 Original Entry Visa available for collection at CZ offices.

Carry out change of status (In/Out Stamp) either by exiting and re-entering the country i.e. by driving to the Hatta/Oman border, or by submitting your passport, original entry visa and payment to CZ to carry out the same without having to leave the country.

NB: Those whom are wishing to carry out the change of status (In/Out Stamp) in country can

only do so if you are currently on the 30 day grace period following the cancellation of your previous residency visa or if you are on a visit visa (NB - not tourist visa) or if you received a visa on arrival into the UAE (granted to nationals of 33 countries who don’t need to apply for a visa prior to entering the UAE)

DAY 17 Proceed to Al Baraha Hospital in Dubai for your Visa Medical

DAY 18-19 Collect Medical Results in Al Baraha and proceed to Sharjah EIDA to apply for your UAE ID Card

DAY 20 Proceed to Ajman CID department to submit finger prints. DAY 22 Collect finger print report and deliver the same to CZ offices along with Original Passport, Original

Visa, Original Medical Results, Original Emirates ID Card receipt along with 4 passport size photos with white background.

DAY 27 Passport is released by Immigration stamped with Residency Visa and a copy emailed to you. DAY 28 Passport available for collection at CZ offices. Please contact us for timelines and costs for urgent processing.

Please Note:

The above timelines correlate to working days not calendar days.

Please add between 4-12 working days if visa pre-approval is required.

Applications are submitted for processing and indicated timelines commence upon realization of payment.

The cut-off time for documents to be submitted/received, and payments to be received/realized is 1pm, anything received after this time will be considered towards the following working day.

As all visa applications have to be submitted to the Free Zone and Immigration with the original forms signed by the applicant, hence all visa applications submitted to CREATIVE ZONE at any time will always be considered towards the following working day

During periods in and around Ramadan, days of mourning, Eid and other National and Religious Holidays the indicated timelines are likely to become subject to delays.

Change of status (in/out stamp) would need to be carried out prior to proceeding for your UAE ID Card.
