Classes of Members
Professional – individuals employed in the IT industry
Honorary – 3 typesLifetime – awarded to those of prestigious stature approved by the AITP Executive Committee. Dues paid by the Association.
Senior – disabled or retired and a member of at least 10 years – dues reduced by one-half.
Emeritus – members who attained a specific level of AITP participation and nominated by the chapter. One-third dues, paid by the chapter.

Classes of Members - 2
Student – individuals entered in a university or college whose degree major is in the information technology field
Interim – Former students members who elect to renew as a professional member. Dues reduced for three years
Enterprise – Piloted in 4Q 2009, rollout coming soon, to make it more beneficial for companies to have multiple employees in AITP.

Interim Membership
Allows student members to transition to professional membership, at reduced dues for the 1st three years
1st Year - $35 (plus local chapter dues)
2nd Year - $45 (plus local chapter dues)
3rd Year - $70 (plus local chapter dues)
Must renew your membership (as an interim professional) before your student membership expires
Go to www.aitp.org/renew
If you are unsure of where you will be after graduation, join as an Individual Member. Later you can have AITP HQ assign you to a chapter in your new location.
