The ATOM® Document Reader

By developing modular products Access can provide operators with seamless integration of readers into kiosks, counters and gates.

Only the functionality required for an individual application need be specified at the outset, with other features easily added at a later date without having to replace inventory.

The ultra-low profile ATOM can deliver fast (non-swipe) MRZ decoding of passports and ID cards, and integrate an MSR swipe reader for credit and FQTV cards. It can, as an option, include a fast barcode reader and RFID/NFC reader for contactless cards and ePassports, and it can even provide a full-page passport/ID imager for airlines to log details against security databases where permissible.
