Balloon
• The hot air balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology. It is part of a class of aircraft known as balloon aircraft.
• Hot air balloons that can be propelled through the air rather than just being pushed along by the wind are known as airships or, more specifically, thermal airships.

Glider
• A glider is a heavier-than-air aircraft that is supported in flight by the dynamic reaction of the air against its lifting surfaces, and whose free flight does not depend on an engine.
• Most gliders do not have an engine, although motor-gliders have small engines for extending their flight when necessary and some are even powerful enough to take off.

Human Powered ACFT
• Human-powered aircraft (HPA) is an aircraft belonging to the class of vehicles known as human-powered vehicles.
• It is powered by direct human energy and the force of gravity; the thrust provided by the human may be the only source.
• However, a hang glider that is partially powered by pilot power is a human-powered aircraft where the flight path can be enhanced more than if the hang glider had not been assisted by human power.

Every machine was designed for a reason; some survived some
vanished.

Aerobatic Aircraft
• An aerobatic aircraft is an aerodyne (a heavier than air aircraft) used in aerobatics.
• Both for flight exhibitions and aerobatic competitions.
• AF around the world normally use jet aircraft for this purpose.
• There are many aerobatic teams; generically called as “Private Air Force”.
