The Most Popular Choice for Ambient Data The Most Popular Choice for Ambient Data Management Management
Used by 70% of US / USEPA Monitoring Agencies
Internationally successful in Trinidad, Mexico, the Far East , Middle East, and South America
Strong presence in oil producing regions (KSA, Canada, Venezuela, Malaysia) due to both Ambient and CEM software capabilities
Our ValuesOur Values
All software development is done in-house, no contractors that can disappear.
Keep good employees, keep institutional knowledge over time.
Good product support is the most important element of any software company (and is a disappearing trend), so we value how it differentiates us in the market.

Most new systems are using serial and Ethernet links to analyzers to collect both the primary pollutant reading as well as internal diagnostics (flow, pressure, temperature)
We use an open system to develop drivers for various analyzer manufacturers, easily adaptable to dozens of instruments without software code changes.
AirVisionServer
Direct Instrument Polling CapabilityDirect Instrument Polling CapabilityAirVision has the capability to directly poll instruments with on-board storage (TEOMs, FRMs, BAMs, etc) and collect data automatically, without an intervening data logger.
For large FRM networks, no need to hook up laptops to download data from FRMs for flow, pressure, BP, temperature data and sample information.
Lab weights / concentration data can be entered into AirVision later.
AirVision SoftwareAirVision Software
With a user base of over 70 state and local agencies (each very different), AirVision can be tuned to a wide variety of preferences, operational procedures, instrumentation, and technologies.
AirVision is the ideal platform for upgrading any existing network and for growth to future technologies.
ProgressionProgressionAV-Trend, a limited version of AirVision, is built into the 8872.
However, for this project, we would expand the 8872 license to a full version of AirVision.
You can evaluate the full capabilities in consideration of using AirVision for data management of the EQB’s complete air network.

Automated E-Mail Report DeliveryAutomated E-Mail Report Delivery
Reports may be delivered via email every hour, day, week, etc
Each report, along with a particular arrangement of sites and instruments, can each be delivered to a specific list of users
Also can provide e-mail notification of instrument alarms or polling problems to specific users
Data Export To External UsersData Export To External Users
The Schedule Report Task allows for any report in the system to be defined, with a particular list of sites/parameters, and either written to disk or FTP’d to a remote server with a desired filename and extension (with date/time naming options).
Export formats include:• PDF• CSV• XLS• HTML• TXT
Also, can direct email from reports.
Programmed Zero/Span/Prec ChecksProgrammed Zero/Span/Prec ChecksFor unattended checks, the logger can be programmed to switch valves, control a calibrator, or follow a calibrator running a program via discrete I/O or Ethernet/Modbus connection (146i, 700E/T, 703s, etc)
Programs can be remotely started, aborted, and monitored.
Interactive ChecksInteractive ChecksFor attended checks without a predefined timing, we define a sequence with NN steps (phases), and which parameters we want to record data for.
The user controls when the system progresses to the next step, and exactly what data points to average for the stored measured value.
Results are polled just like automatic sequences, each cal’s data distinguished by the names of the sequence and phases
Precision Statistics Report / Diff ChartPrecision Statistics Report / Diff Chart
Cal Adjust ToolCal Adjust ToolReviews cal zero/span checks and can calculate zero offsets or zero/span corrections. Data can be corrected, either as a scheduled process or an automatic task.
Precision Checks ---> AQSPrecision Checks ---> AQSIf a programmed check / phase is marked as a “PREC” level, it can automatically generate AQS “RP” AQS or XML records without any intervention.
If needed, records can be marked as non-reportable in Cal Editor.

A report and graph are included that roll up hourly PM data for comparison with 24-hour FRM sample data.
AQI LevelsAQI LevelsStored in tables, not hard coded. Editor open to add new programs, change levels, follow EPA changes, etc. Supports ozone surrogate and Conroy PM forecasting.
Editor also includes warning text used by AgileWeb.

AQI calculated for each site (all data as well as highest and responsible pollutant. Data can be accessed via report (including FTP of CSV report to third party web server), AgileWeb, or AQI Web Service, allowing a high degree of flexibility for supporting existing internal or external web sites).

SummarySummaryAirVision provides a system that can
meet the needs of both current systems, no matter how old the instruments, while providing the platform for advanced future capabilities as monitors get upgraded.
It is easy to implement, easy to deploy, and easy to operate and administer.
It has a large customer base, so good support and ongoing development is already well-funded.
It is backed by an company dedicated to the craft of ambient data management, with experience and a history of strong customer service and support.
AgileWeb™ AgileWeb™ (optional)(optional)
- AgileWeb! is a pre-built, easy to deploy web site for public health notification with full source code for modification- Also provides for a browser-only reporting client.
Asset Tracking Module (optional)Asset Tracking Module (optional)
Asset data can be managed through the 8872 or AirVision menus to mark the start/end date of a logger, instrument, or analyzer.
Asset history is synchronized with the central AirVision server, and history from other sites pulled back down to each site.
Asset List History Panel
File Import Tool Module (optional)File Import Tool Module (optional)
Used to automatically parse data in columnar form via a user-defined template
Parameter columns can either be fixed (“Nth column”) or identified by a literal string in a header row
Supports continuous and Sample data records
The tool can also be used for automatic sampler polling and/or manual file import (or ‘drop in folder’ import).
ADVP Module (optional)ADVP Module (optional)Allows for any number complex multi-condition (e.g., if X and Y and Z) to be applied to incoming data in real-time. Can be used to improve quality of data going to public in real-time. Automates majority of basic QA review.
Sample rules include:
• Flagging high pollutant values when environmental conditions would not allow those values, e.g., high ozone during low temperature.
• Flagging abnormal solar radiation during nighttime or rainfall
• Detecting stuck met sensors (frozen sensor, birds perching)
• Cross-flagging instrument diagnostic values to invalidate/mark suspect primary analyzer readings.
• Comparing nearby sites for similar parameters (ambient temperature, pollutant readings) and marking large differences as suspect.
• Distinguish dust storms (high WS during high PM) from regular high PM events.
