Work closely with academics to identify strategic research strengths and to encourage an innovative research culture.

Promote academic research portfolio to a diverse range of businesses, and funding bodies (including EPSRC, BBSRC, MRC, TSB, EU, Knowledge transfer partnerships and CASE) and opinion formers at industrial meetings, industry focus groups, workshops and national and international showcasing events , project partnering events.

Work closely with funding bodies and collaborators to identify the requirements for collaborative projects

Support academics in obtaining collaborative and industry-linked research funding.
