Introduction to Aikido Beginners Course April 3 rd -May 24 th 2012* Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-6:50 pm. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to Aikido. Aikido is a non-competitive martial art that promotes non-violent resolution of conflict. Besides enhancing self-defense skills, regular training increases stamina, health, mental focus and inner peace. Anyone with average mobility can practice Aikido. Course fee of $110 covers a training gi and group instruction twice a week for eight weeks. During the last two weeks of the program, students have the opportunity to transition into the general classes. All visitors are welcome to come and watch any of our classes! We also have an active Children’s Program and adult classes in Tai Chi and Chi Kung—Please see our website for more details and a current calendar of events. Our school is located off of Cantrill Drive, just behind the Davis Police Department. To register, you may call the dojo or arrive 15 minutes early on your first day. Registration forms can be filled out ahead of time on our website and brought to the first class.* * Did you miss the first class? That’s okay! Classes are ongoing and you can join at any time.
