DESCRIPTION

This project is an AIESEC NJU run project in association with NGOs and foundations in and around Nanjing, which takes the responsibilities of creating opportunities for the children of migrant workers, who come from families of poverty living on the edge of society, with a chance to see the world around them. Labeled by their parents working in minor jobs with low incomes, these children hover on the edges of the city of Nanjing, dreaming of becoming a part of “the big world” and changing their lives, yet lack of opportunities and neglected from the rest of the society, which leads their faith to a similar path as their parents---neglected migrant workers who build our cities but never actually become a part of us. We are not there to alter their lives and provide them with a promising future, no, all that we can do is to show them that there are people out there who care about them and give them a chance to see the wonders of the world. We are there to make a difference.
