Forms of Aid
Bi-lateral aid is given directly from one government to another, often ‘tied’.
Multi-lateral aid is given by major world alliances (e.g. UN, EU etc.), without strings attached.
Voluntary aid is given by charities (e.g. Blythswood, Oxfam etc.) - ‘Non-Governmental Organisations’ (NGOs)
