Highway Projects
The program aims to build a Highway network consisting of:
Over 800 kilometres of Highways
Over 300
Bridges &
Underpasses
The Highway Network connects Doha and other major cities, towns
and strategic developments across the country and is being
delivered through more than 50 separate Highways Projects
The delivery of a world-class Highway network which will be
the back-bone for Qatar’s future, in line with the 2030 Vision,
as well as provide the major transportation routes for the
upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2022

Al Majd Road and Truck Route Project The roadway cross section provides 5 lanes for
light vehicles and 2 lanes for trucks, in both
directions.
Future provision of 2 extra lanes
Al Majd Road and Truck Route Project The Al Majd Road project was divided into 4
Design and Build Projects for simultaneous
construction.
The duration was approximately 4 years and
was completed in Q4 2018.
