Project Description & Scope of Work:

Developing the engineering concept designs, detailed design documents and bills of Quantities

for a series of development dedicated to Information Technology activities.

The development occupies over 3 million m2, Smart Village Cairo is Egypt’s first, fully operational

information technology cluster and business park. The prime development accommodates

multinational and local companies; governmental and financial organizations; educational institutions;

and research and development centers. All facilities share sophisticated, state-of-the-art

infrastructure; up-to-date facility management; and a full range of business and recreation services.

Its buildings shall cover 10% of the site, while the remaining is nicely landscaped. The project

comprises: conference and exhibition centers, reception and ball room, business center, hotel and

hotel apartments, shopping malls/restaurants.

Project Name: CAPITAL MARKET AUTHORITY OFFICE BUIDLING - SMART VILLAGE


Developing the engineering concept designs, detailed design documents, bills of Quantities and

Construction of the Capital Market Institutional office building in the financial district, smart village.

The built up area is 14 000m2 consisting of 2 underground basements, with 2 towers B136, B137 each

tower consists of ground & 3 floors each floor for each tower 3000 m2.

Project Name: CAIRO FESTIVAL CITY PROJECT


Developing the engineering concept designs and detailed design documents for Cairo Festival City

Centre (CFC) retail project, which is one of the first mix use projects in Egypt consisting of an

indoor/outdoor shopping center comprised of two to three levels, luxurious villas, cinema.

The project is composed of primarily two segments: a massively sized mall building and

complementary retail village. Both components unfold sizeable net leasable and total built-up areas of

nearly 145,000 m2 and 404,000 m2, respectively. Provisions are incorporated for around 80,000 m2 of

projected retail expansion.

The multi-entrance enclosed mall building is an elegant five-storey structure augmented by four

atriums: the Garden, Water, Lantern, and Sky Courts. All are allocated to the inspirational elements of

nature effectively boosting a dynamic visual energy across the mall. With a footprint area of nearly

140,000 m2, the masterpiece center takes on several special themes including a cinema complex (18

screens), a gourmet hypermarket, restaurants and cafes (approximately 20), a food court (18

outlets/1,100 seats), in-line retail shops (250), in addition to a family entertainment center.

The second facet of Cairo Festival City Centre is the retail village, which brings to the forefront a

market comprised of ten remarkably designed buildings accommodating 70 retail units that surround

a superbly romantic lake. Outdoor leisure attractions uncover a palm tree-lined promenade and a park

entertaining luxurious landscaped gardens. Total car parking space area amounts to 210,000 m2

furnishing over 7,000 slots.

Project Name: RENOVATION OF MENA HOUSE OBEROI GOLF COURSE & GOLF CLUB HOUSE


Over an area of 100,000m2, the golf course was upgraded to 18 holes instead of nine within a nine

fairway constraint. ECG designs provided entertaining views of gently rolling grass dunes, radiant

white sand traps, strategically positioned lakes, natural treasures of old-growth flora, all

complemented by an intense green buffer. .

Project Name: LOCAL MASTER PLANNING CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR MARASSI PROJECT


Developing bills of Quantities for Marassi project, which spreads over seven (7) million sq.m. in

Sidi Abd ElRahman, Kilometer 125, North Coast, Egypt, shall become the most prestigious

development in Egypt due to its exotic location and climate thus hosting different touristic, residential,

and commercial facilities. The project is creating a new touristic environment that combines a wide

variety of residential units, hotels, 18 hole golf course, marina, a town and commercial center, spas

and wellness facilities, in addition to performance venue/concert hall and public services.

Project Name: BUILDING # MB4 - MAADI CALL CENTER


Developing the engineering concept designs, detailed design documents, bills of Quantities for

Maadi Call Center.

The project is composed of a basement and 5 typical floors of approximately 4,000 m2 per floor

area. The building is dedicated for call center activities and could be divided into two separate

buildings each with its own facilities. The basement houses the common facilities such as praying

rooms and training classes. The elevations are cladded with natural stone.

Project Name: Oryana Villas - Cairo Festival City


On a land area of approximately 3 million m2 to construct a mixed commercial, retail and

residential development, including 172 luxury villas; of three types and each type is of three styles,

Italian, French and Spanish and each style of three facade type. The Project can only be accessed

through three guarded gates.

Project Name: SODIC EASTOWN NEW CAIRO BLOCKS 3-4-C-9 WITH OMA


Developing the engineering detailed design documents and bills of Quantities for Blocks "3,4,8,9"

among the heart of Eastown. About 80,270sqm BUA (Commercial = 71,278sqm, Retail = 8,992sqm).

They form a square and are linked in the center by the 3489Central Square.

Project Name: Horus New Pharmaceutical Plant


Complete design and engineering construction for the new state-of-the-art pharmaceutical

factory of Horus Pharmaceutical Industries at Polaris International Industrial Park, 6th of October City.

The pharmaceutical plant will be developed over a land area of 125,000 m2 and with a built-up

area of 44,000 m2 which will make it the biggest pharmaceutical plant in Egypt and MENA region. The

historical building and traditional local materials such as limestone and glass characterize the design.

This will help the project to have a durable weather resistant massive wall construction, good thermal

internal, warm natural color which creates a harmony with the surroundings.

The factory will have main production area which includes solid production, sterile production

and penicillin production and auxiliary buildings. The project’s development will be

completed by the year 2021 over 3 phases aiming to achieve an annual solid production capacity of

2.5 Billion tablet and 1.38 Billion capsules and sterile production of 126 Million ampoules (< 10 ml) and

2.2 Million ampoules (<60 ml).

Project Name: RETAIL BUILDINGS -ZONE 1 - BARWA NEW CAIRO PROJ



for Barwa Retail Buildings Zone 1 with retail GLA 190,000 m2 including 300 residential apartments

with total built-up area 650,000 m2.

The project includes cinema complex 9,000 m2, hypermarket 15,000 m2, 15 anchors and 340

inline shops, and all relevant facilities including parking areas for 8,500 cars, ETS rooms and electric

substations, responsibilities also included interface with the client/contractor for design matters and

coordinate with other international consultants.

Developing the engineering Ministerial Decree documents and bills of Quantities for sub zones

2A, 3A, 8A and 9A.

The project comprises 4 plots 2A, 3A, 8A and 9A in Barwa New Cairo Project. The plots are

designated for office/ commercial use. Plot 9A comprises an iconic tower 80,000 m2 GBA and 2 office

buildings 30,000 m2 GBA.

Project Name: LIFE STYLE ESTATE ORIANA PHASE 3 DEVELOPMENT



for Oriana Phase 3, which shall include combination of standalone villas and twin houses with total

GBA of 122 541 m2. This phase lies within the Oriana villas gated community.

Project Name: HEALTH & WELLNESS CARE CENTER AT MADINAT UMM SLAL


Occupying a land area of 49,620m2 and with a built-up area of 9,110m2, the center comprises

for Shah new accommodation & administration complex, which aims to serve the new Shah Gas Plant.

The project consists of 2 complexes, accommodation complex (88,605 m2) & administration

complex (11,750 m2).

The accommodation complex comprises staff accommodation building, contractors

accommodation building, contractors amenities building, staff amenities building (reception area,

reception lounge & VIP lounge, restaurant facilities, coffee shop, T.V. room / Arabic Majlis, kitchen &

laundry, auditorium and miscellaneous facilities (Barber shop, maintenance workshops and Snooker

facility, etc.)), recreation facilities (indoor sports arena, swimming pools, football field, tennis court,

squash, gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi, etc), clinic, mosque, service yard, sewage treatment plant,

electrical substation, helipad, car parks, automotive repair shop and fuelling station, waste

Project Name: DEVELOPMENT OF MARSA ALAM AIRPORT TERMINAL BUIDLING.


The project aims at expanding the airport and its associated facilities by having a new

international arrival hall with a total area of 1,110m2 and a new international hall with an area of

550m2. The extension also includes modification of the existing area/ systems and facilities to cope up

with the extension.

The project has a special location on 90th Street on a plot area of 12542m2. It contains 2

basements as a parking area, upper basement, ground floor, first floor used as a shopping center and 3

typical floors as office areas. ECG's scope includes concept of construction as core and shell building

except the public areas such as entrances, stairs, toilets and corridors. ECG used Revit BIM Package

throughout the design process.

Project Name: ROYAL CITY COMPOUND.


The project comprises the design review of infrastructure and road networks for a high-end

residential compound consisting of 600 constructed villas; 170 villas and commercial/recreational

areas are under construction.

Project Name: MARS EGYPT - SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - SDP.


The project comprised the construction of plant extension with steel structure 9, 12 and 15 meter

high, with an area of 81,043m2 including utilities, infrastructure works and fence around all the plant

with two new gates.

Project Name: GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF MILITARY WORKS (GDMW) RIYADH MEDICAL COMPLEX.


ECG scope of work included detailed design of the Core Medical Hospital and Emergency Medical

Center, Oncology Hospital and Outpatient Clinic, Polyclinic and Day Surgery, Central Laboratory,

Pharmacy, Medical Administration Building and Conference Center, parking structure, infrastructure
