2000 pieces fingerling. Please maintain the recommended ratio.
Complementary feed must be given regularly. Don’t use excess feed to
avoid water pollution.
For Aphid, hoppers, white fly apply Imidachloropid @1ml/5lit. of water or thiomethoxam @1g/3lit of water. For yellow mite apply propergite 2.5 ml/lt. of water.to control
sucking pest of chilli apply Flubenamide 39.35% SC @ 4 ml/tank. Bacterial wilt control measure same as Brinjal, In case of blight of twigs from the top of the plant need to be sprayed with Difenoconazole 25 EC @ 1ml/lit of water.

Disease
Cattle and
Buffalo
Lumpy skin disease Lumpy skin disease- is an infectious disease in cattle caused
by a virus, also known as Neethling virus. Symptom- by fever, enlarged superficial lymph nodes and multiple nodules
on the skin and mucous membranes. Infected cattle also may
develop edematous swelling in their limbs and exhibit lameness. Additionally, the disease often results in chronic
debility, reduced milk production, poor growth, infertility,
abortion, and sometimes death. Control: This disease is new in our country and still doesn’t have any vaccine. Isolate
infected cattle firstly, keep clean the cattle house. Treatments
will be according to symptom. For fever use Paracetamol or
Meloxicam. The lumps and nodules can be cleaned with Potassium permanganate mixed water. In need you can use
Antiseptic lotion. Consult with nearest veterinary in
emergency.
Poultry
Round worm and Tape worm
Never allow chickens or ducks to eat wet or damp feed during
this rainy season.
It is very important to provide particular amount of dewormers
for both round worm and tape worm to any cattle, goats or
poultry at this time.

Crop Stage Variety Advisory
RICE
Sheath blight Due to stagnation of water in the field and high
relative humidity Sheath
blight Fungal disease is common. Excess Nitrogen fertilizer
application can accelerate
this disease. August to October is the high time for this disease
attack. Control: 1)
Drain out excess water from infected field. 2) Reduce the dose
of Nitrogen fertilizer. 3)
Bio fungicide like Trichoderma, Pseudomonas Fluorescens is
also good. 4) Spray
Propiconazol+ Difenoconazole 1ml/liter of water or
Carbendazim + Flusilazole 1.5
ml/lit or Carbendazim (Bavistin) 1 gram/liter of water. Yellow
Stem Borer- The larva
of borer makes hole in the stem 2-4 inch above the water
level. Affected plants show
‘Dead heart’ symptom. In the reproductive stage it shows
‘White ear head’. In 110
days, variety pesticide is not required within 30 days after
transplanting. Pesticide
needed if there is 5% dead tiller or 1% dead inflorescence.
Control: i) Apply granular
insecticide 8 to 10 days prior the transplanting and retain
water in nursery field. ii)
Spray 2 ml Fipronil or 2.5 ml Acetamiprid + Chlorpyriphos
par liter of water. iii) cut
off the tip of the seedlings before transplanting to eradicate the
eggs of stem borer. iv)
Light trap or hand net can be used. Do not use Imidacloprid or
Thiamethoxem as
precaution.
TOMATO --
Leaf Curl: 1. Spray 12.5 g of Diafenthuron and 25 ml of
Eoxystrobin + Tebuconazole
per tank of water. 2. On the second day, spray 15 g of Zinc
EDTA and 30 g of Boron
30 g as each tank. 3. After seven days, play Diafenthuron 12.5
gm per tank. 4. After 7
days, spray aloe vera with 12.5 g of diafenthuron + 25 ml of
tebuconazole per tank..
BRINJAL
Yellowing of leaf and Fruit drop: Such problems are due to
lack of zinc
nutrients in the soil and whitefly infestation. 1. As the first
spray, spray zinc
EDTA in 1 gram per liter of water. 2. On the second day,
spray 12.5 g of
diafenthuron and 25 ml of eoxystrobin + teboconazole per 15
liters of water. 3.
After seven days, spray Diafenthuron 12 gm in 15 liters of
water. 4. After
seven days, spray zinc EDTA in 1 gm per liter of water. 5. Cut
the lower leaves
of the tree, lighten the tree. Let the wind blow.
CAULIFLOWE
R
This is the time when those who have planted cauliflower
early may have
problems-1. leaf may turn yellow. 2. The roots of the tree may
rot 3. The roots
may be damaged etc. To control these: 1. The soil should be
sprayed with 40 g
of copper oxychloride and 1 g of streotocyclin per 10 liters of
water. 2. After
seven days, the mixture of azoxystrobin + tebuconazole
should be sprayed in 1
ml per liter of water. 3. After seven days, four grams of copper
oxychloride
and 2 ml of validamycin per liter of water should be sprayed
well.
COW
Bovine Ephimeral Fever caused by a virus are carried by mosquitoes. Symptoms of severely infected animals are the main treatment. The cowshed should be clean and mosquitoes, flies should be controlled to prevent disease transmission.
INDIAN MAJOR
CARP
Remove excess water from pond.
Pond preparation
Undulating Red and Laterite Zone Crop Stage Problem Advisory
RICE Prevailing weather is favorable for an attack of Brown Plant Hopper (BPH) and white
Backed Plant Hopper (WBPH). To manage farmers are directed to follow a spray
schedule with Buprofezin 25% SC@ 0.5 ml/l or Thiamethoxam 25% [email protected] gm/l or
Imidacloprid 17.8%SL@ 0.3 ml/l or neem oil @ 2 ml/l of water 2-3 times at an
interval of 7-10 days in the early morning or evening hours of any bright sunny day.
Forecasted weather is favorable for Blast, sheath blight, brown spot disease attack in
rice. To manage the disease spray Propiconazole or Hexaconazole @ 1 gm/L of water
after the cessation of rain. There may be an attack of yellow stem borer, Case worm,
leaf folder at this stage of kharif rice. Keep vigilance. If severe infestation is observed,
application of Cartap hydrochloride 4G @3.5kg/bigha or Chlorantraniliprole 0.4 GR
@ 1.3 kg/bigha or fipronil 0.3% GR @ 0.7-1 kg/bigha are advised to protect the crop
from these pests.
CHILLI Prevailing weather is favorable for Anthracnose in Chilli. To manage farmers
are advised to use Difeconazole 25 % EC or Hexaconazole 5% SC @ 1ml/ l +
Captafol/ Chlorothalonil/ Mancozeb 1-1.5 gm/l of water twice at 7-10 days
interval. In current weather situation thrips mite and whitefly attack may be
increased in chilli which may cause turning of leaves and stunted growth of the
plant. To control the pest attack spray spiromesifen 22.9 % SC 0.5 ml/ lit of
water. Rogue out the affected plant from the field immediately to prevent the
further spreading of the diseases.
PUMPKIN Prevailing weather is congenial for mosaic disease in cucurbitaceous
vegetable. Rogue out the affected plant from the field immediately to prevent
the further spreading of the diseases. Farmers are advised to spray Flonicamid
50% WG @ 0.3 gm/l with sticker on a clear sunny day to prevent the disease.
COW Lumpy skin disease may be seen in cattle during the prevalent weather. Infected cattle
may develop edematous swelling in their limbs, multiple nodules on their skin and
mucous membranes fever etc. For control spreading of the disease isolate the infected
cattle firstly, clean the cattle shed with lime and bleaching powder and wash the lumps
and nodules of the infected cattle with 5% Potassium Permanganate solution mixed
with water.
