AGM - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING COOK PIONEER CENTRE, GORDON STREET, MULLUMBIMBY SECTION 355 COMMITTEE OF THE BYRON SHIRE COUNCIL: 28 th November 2016, 1.30pm at cook Pioneer Centre, Gordon Street 1. Open meeting: Keith Basing, President, opened the meeting at 1.30pm and welcomed members. 2. Attendance: Present: Susie Handran-Smith, Jeanette Martin, Betty Swanton, Keith basing, Anthony Reardon, Joanne McMurty, Bruce Buckthorpe Apologies: Alan Hunter Accepted: Bruce, Betty 3. Correspondence: None 4. Minutes of Previous AGM read by Sue: Membership fee got reimbursed from BSC to Autum Club account. Moved: Betty, Bruce 5. Treasurer’s Report. See Bruce’s full page report. Moved: Bruce, Second: Betty 6. Officers vacate chair for election of officers. Jeannette takes the chair. If only one person is nominated then that person is automatically elected. President: Nominations: Keith Basing- Nom: Sue, Sec: Bruce Elected. Secretary: Nominations: Sue Handran-Smith – Nom: Betty, Sec: Betty - Elected. Treasurer: Nominations: Bruce Buckthorpe – Nom: Betty, Sec: Sue - Elected. Booking Officer: Nominations: Betty Swanton – Nom: Bruce, Sec: Sue – Elected. Assistant Booking Officer: Nominations: Anthony Reardon – Nom: Jeanette, Sec: Bruce - Elected All above elected. Keith returns to chair. 7. General Business- To help transition Betty out of role as main booking officer perhaps we could; • Get a key safe and attach to the outside of the building. • Set up a Google calendar - password protected so only admin can edit. • Possibly purchase a mobile phone that can be handed to whomever is managing the bookings at the time. The number will be listed on BSC Halls and venues section of the website. • Joanne: Next 355 meeting we need to review hall fees. Sue mentioned we had already tabled to raise the fee from $7/hr to $8/hr next financial year. • Next 355 meeting Monday 13 th Feb at 1.30pm. • Bruce: Tabled an ordinary 355 treasurers report from July 2016 – Nov 2016. • Joanne: Asked Bruce how the accounts are separated. He replied we have separate account for 355 and Autumn club with Comm Bank. • If we are going to begin to transition to electronic booking system then need a meeting early January. 8. Keith Basing Ends meeting and thanked all for coming at 2.20pm.

AGM - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING COOK PIONEER CENTRE, GORDON STREET, MULLUMBIMBY SECTION 355 COMMITTEE OF THE BYRON SHIRE COUNCIL: 28th November 2016, 1.30pm at cook Pioneer Centre, Gordon Street

1. Open meeting: Keith Basing, President, opened the meeting at 1.30pm and welcomed members.
