'Modeling Camp KIDS' is a modeling and

acting camp for girls ages 8-11! Campers

from all over the globe attend the four

day boot camp and experience what

it's like to be in the modeling/acting

industry!

This exciting, empowering camp

introduces kids to the world of

modeling and acting and steps them

through a series of workshops, photo

shoots and daily challenges with top

industry professionals.

Girls learn about modeling and acting

in a fun, non-competitive and age

appropriate environment and walk

away not only with the knowledge

of the industry but with valuable life

skills that they can apply to their

everyday life.

On the last day, the girls have the

option to meet with top NYC agents

and casting directors.

Modeling Camp KIDS is 4 day 'boot camp'program designed for girls to have funwhile learning about the modeling industry.Modeling Camp can make no guarantee thatyou will be signed by an agency or that youwill be successful in entering the industry.Modeling Camp wants parents and campersto know that it is not essential for you tocomplete a modeling program such as thisone in order for you to meet and sign witha legitimate modeling agency.

PARENT/CHILD SEMINARModeling Camp KIDS recognizes thecommitment parents have to make in thisbusiness and wants to answer all yourquestions! Modeling Camp KIDS starts theweek with a Parent/Child seminar. Thishelps ease first day jitters for the campersand also provides parents a forum for askingquestions, learning about what is involved,where to go, what to do, etc! Attendance for parents is not required, but is definitelyrecommended.

RUNWAY TRAININGGirls learn how to 'rock the runway' with alesson from a NYC runway choreographer!Learn the twists and the turns and how toparticipate in a kid's fashion show!

DIRECTED BY HEATHER COLE Director of Modeling Camp KIDS is thefounder and owner of Modeling Camp,Heather Cole. A former Elite model,Heather started her modeling career 24years ago in London. Having appeared inmagazines such as Elle, Vogue and MarieClaire, Heather went on to open ModelingCamp in 1996 which has since grown toincorporate programs in New York City,Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami,Virginia and Toronto.

HEALTH AND FITNESSEven our younger campers shouldunderstand about eating a healthy, well-balanced diet. Campers learn about healthand nutrition and have their own personal'yoga divas' session with our ModelingCamp Nutritionist Cori Cohen!

POISE AND POSTURE Girls learn how to move gracefully andwith ease in front of the camera. Posingtechniques are discussed and practiced. The importance of good posture and poiseare emphasized and highly encouraged.

DAILY FASHIONCHALLENGES Every day, Modeling Camp KIDS will havea daily fashion related, challenge for girls toparticipate in! These challenges are fun andinteractive and all girls will have a chanceto win a prize! The emphasis at ModelingCamp KIDS is that beauty comes from theinside and that kindness to others and afriendly disposition are two of the mostimportant qualities we can possess!

FASHION SHOWCampers take their new runway skills andput it all together at the end of the weekwith a fashion show presentation for yourfamily and friends. This event is a great wayto celebrate the end of the week!

A MODEL PERSONALITYIt’s not just about taking a pretty picture –it’s how you project your attitude in frontof the camera! Your eyes, the way you holdyour hands, how you stand, how you smile– girls learn how to project their personalitygracefully on camera.

AUDITIONS & CASTINGSAuditions and castings are a part of everymodel’s day - even child models! Girls learnhow to handle a modeling casting interview.Then they put what they learn to the teston the last day and have a casting with areal NYC modeling agent! (This activity iscompletely optional!)

TV COMMERCIALSModels are frequently used for TVcommercials, so it is important that yourchild knows how to be confident in frontof the television camera as well. Camperslearn acting tips from top NYC actingcoach Cynthia White and get to try theirhand at a Modeling Camp TV commercial!Then they watch themselves on TV and seethe end result!

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT WITH A NYCPHOTOGRAPHEREvery camper attending Modeling CampKIDS will have their own private photoshoot session with a NYC fashionphotography team. After learning aboutphoto shoot do’s and don’ts, campersexperience the excitement of what it’s like to be a professional model shooting in front of the camera!

A styling team will be doing ageappropriate hair and make-up and afashion stylist will be styling their outfits -so it will be just like a real modeling job!

This is a GREAT way to start your child'sown modeling portfolio, to add to one they may already have, get their actingheadshot or just a fun way to get someamazing pictures!

Here girls have the opportunity to shoot outside on location in NYC at a private one on one photoshoot with a NYC fashion photographer! It's agreat way to add to the studio pictures you will begetting for your portfolio from camp and also anamazing opportunity to get some fabulouspictures of yourself.

Girls have their hair and make-up done for them by NYC hair and makeup artists and a stylist helps them coordinate their three different looks.
