AGENT 1: RLD15

LEAK SIZE INDICATORThe AGENT1: RLD15 unique digital leak sizeindicator provides information beyond sim-ple detection to include approximate leaksize. Use the detected leak rate to zero inon the source of the problem with greaterconfidence.

3 SENSITIVITY LEVELSThe Agent1 allows a quick toggle between3 sensitivity levels, High, Norm and Low, sousers can either do quick passes or preci-sion pinpointing to troubleshoot detection.

HEATED SENSOR TECHNOLOGYThe AGENT1 uses a heated sensor to gen-erate an electrical signal in the presence ofthe target gas. This technology increasesaccuracy and reduces false alarms. TheAGENT’s sensor provides approximately 300hours of service life, and also activates avisual flashing LED when refrigerants aredetected.

WHISPER ACTION PUMPThis extremely quiet, true mechanical pumpdraws gas over the sensor for fasterresponse in a variety of environments.Combined with the high sensitivity of theAGENT1, leaks on outside condensing unitsin windy conditions are now detectable.

CERTIFIED TO MEET J2791 This new standard establishes tougher min-imum performance criteria for an improvedclass of electronic hand held probe-typerefrigerant leak detectors capable of identi-fying a leak rate of 0.15oz./year, with thesensing distance 3/8" from the leak (includ-ing detection sensitivity in a contaminatedor windy environment).

INTRODUCTION

The AGENT RLD15 features a long lifeheated sensor technology that is designed todetect the more current and difficult HFCrefrigerants such as R134a, R410A, R404A, R407C, in additiion to all HCFC (R22) and CFC(R12) refrigerants including SNAP approvedhydrocarbon blends.

GETTING STARTED

LEAK SIZE INDICATOR

The digital leak size indicator remains off until a leak is detected, a number from 1 - 9will be displayed for all HFC and HCFC refriger-ants. Regardless of the sensitivity settings.

The number will increase or decreasedepending on the amount of refrigerantsensed. The maximum value will be displayedonce the leak source has been located.

LEAK TEST VIAL

The Leak detector comes with a Leak TestVial that allows the user to make sure thedetector is performing properly. To test: Turnthe detector on and allow the unit to warm-up.

NOTE: Always remember toreplace plastic seal cap after leaktest is completed. Replace TestVial when the blue color is nolonger visible.

3/8” or Less

1. Remove Seal Cap

4. Replace Seal Cap

3. The beep rate shouldincrease and the DigitalLeak Size Indicatorshould display a numberfrom 4 - 6 indicating thatthe sensor and electron-ics are working properly

2. Place Sensor tip close to open vile.

FILTER REPLACEMENT1. Replace Filter: Unscrew sensor tip as

shown to replace filter. Replace filter whenever it becomes visibly dirty or every 2 to 3 months depending on use.

SENSOR REPLACEMENT1.) Remove sensor by unscrewing sensor tipand pulling out the socket.

2.) Install the new sensor by aligning the markon the sensor cover with that on the probe andpressing together.

WARNINGDO NOT TWIST OR FORCE THESENSOR INTO THE SOCKET.

Misalignment can damage the sensor pins.
