Councilor President D. Elipe reported that budget deliberations may be affected by the letter ofthe City Mayor stating this his policy still stands insofar as the submission of the requireddocuments from various departments is concerned, even as he proposed the passage of a

resolution requesting the barangays to furnish the Body with copies of their developmentprograms or priority projects requiring funding from the city government, among other things.

Action taken: The Body adopted Resolution No. 12225-2016.

ii.

Councilor Lourdes Candy R. Darimbang rendered a terminal report on the investigation that theCommittee on Tourism had conducted in aid of legislation regarding the controversial staging of

Mr and Miss PanContinental Beauty Pageant here last November 2015 and proposed somemeasures to prevent similar incident in the future, among other things.

Action taken: The Body awaits the submission of the report and the proposed legislative

measures to each member.
