Causes of Imperialism

Africa is easy to invadeEuropean countries were technologically

advanced. Railways and advanced naval ships gave them easy access to Africa

The increase in industry required vast resources that Africa had

The amount of territories added to the wealth of the larger nation. Thus other larger countries were gaining colonies causing a race for the “untapped” land of Africa.
