1. Development of BSB area (BCY-BSB-MUV) in an integrated manner combining

traffic requirements and Land availability of NR & NER.

2. Decongestion of BSB & development of adequate through capacity so that BSB

Yard would not become a bottle neck after doubling and electrification.

3. Direct connectivity of MUV with LOT side so that terminating trains of RPC-IV and

PF return can be dealt directly at MUV without requiring them to be dealt at BSB .
