• Check your progress! You have 3 more days including today (and Thursday should be spent getting organized).

• Keep in mind that ONE photograph must be considered aFINE ART

Photo 7: Fill-in flash to record a good exposure of the ambient light and "fill in" shadows on the subject.

• The digital basics website talked a lot about metering

• Discuss silhouette– Bright Background, Subject in Shadow

• Get a reading of the background (* button)• Then recompose

Photo 8: B&W photo with a red filter effect of a landscape that includes sky (and preferably some clouds).

• Read the Manual!!!• Hints:

– Use the menu and switch parameters– Be sure to use a red photo filter

Photo 9: An interesting photograph that shows a reflection.

Photo 10: An interesting photograph that employs a "Dutch Angle.”

– Use approximately a 30 degree angle to shoot a Dutch Angle

– Choose objects that are normally horizontal or vertical
