Entry Fee of $25.00. All entry fees are due at that time.
Contestant number will be assigned as applications are received
There are two (2) scored categories in the pageant. The maximum number of points that a contestant
can receive is 10 points per judge per category.
All judges are out of town and have no affiliation
Interview (40% of overall score) – A 3 minute Private Interview with the judging panel.
The Private Interview phase of competition is an opportunity to learn as much as possible about the
contestant - her personal qualities and attributes; her level of communication skills; her opinions and
aspirations; her sense of accomplishment, poise, presence, “first impression”; responses; ability to
fulfill the duties and responsibilities. (No Interview for Petite Miss)
Miss Contestants only (40% of overall score) – A 5 minute Private Interview with the judging panel.
Evening Wear (60% of overall score) [Petite Miss 100% of overall score]
The Evening Wear phase of competition is designed for the judge to assess the contestant’s poise,
grace, and stage presence. The contestant’s total look is considered. Her evening wear (not the value
of the evening wear) should complement the contestant’s individuality. Overall “first impression”;
sense of confidence; personality and stage presence; walk, carriage and grace; sense of style and
appropriateness of the evening wear.

2017 Rules and Regulations As a contestant of the Lee Regional Fair Pageant, we ask that you read the following guidelines.
Please carefully review each rule/regulation and sign at the bottom.
1. Contestants and Relatives of Contestants must conduct themselves in a lady-like manner and portray high
moral standards.
2. Each Contestant is required to submit a $25.00 non-refundable Entry Fee.
3. No Photogenic
4. Each contestant is required to attend Interview and Rehearsal. If a contestant has an unavoidable conflict, she
must notify Cheryl Rodriguez 919-708-8723.
5. Interviews are Saturday, August 26, 2017. The dates and times of Interviews are as follows:
Wilrik Ballroom 152 S. Steele St., Sanford, NC 27330, Saturday, August 26, 2017: Petite Miss (No Interview),
Tiny Miss (Age 6-7) 9:30am, Little Miss (Age 8-9) 10:30am, Young Miss (Age 10-12)1:00pm, Junior Miss (Age 13-
15) 2:00pm & Miss (Age 16-18) 3:00pm.
6. Rehearsal time is Saturday, September 9, 2017. Contestants must be on time for rehearsal.
Sanford Lions Club Arena Stage 505 N 7th St, Sanford, NC 27330, Saturday, September 9, 2017: Miss Lee
11:00pm, Junior Miss 1:00pm, Young Miss 2:00pm, Little Miss 3:00pm, Tiny Miss 4:00pm and Petite Miss
5:00pm.
7. Sanford Lions Club will not be liable for any accidents or stolen articles during rehearsals or any other
pageant functions. Every precaution will be taken to ensure your safety and that of your personal belongings.
8. Lee Regional Fair Pageant Winners are expected to uphold her title with respect, honor, and dignity.
9. All decisions made by the Pageant Judges are final.
10. No one other than Pageant directors and contestants are allowed backstage during the pageant.
11. No one except assigned pageant director is to approach the Judges concerning contestant’s scores.
12. If a tie exists, the contestant with the higher score in the Interview phase will receive the higher rank.

I hereby agree to abide by all rules/regulations of the Lee Regional Fair Pageants. I waive any claim I may now have or
hereafters have against the Sanford Lions Club and Volunteers for any injuries/damages suffered during the pageant. The
Lee Regional Fair Pageant waives all responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.
