Dear colleagues,Nearly 4 years after the last AKU update on uro oncology, we are happy to cordially invite you again to the Aga Khan University, Karachi to the 2nd AKU urology update-Endourology seminar and workshop on the 13th to 15th November 2009. The Aga khan university has hosted many important National and International Meetings offering the advantage for delegates to stay almost in the center of the city 15-30 minute drive from most major hotels and airport. We are proud to provide National and International experts in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Endourology, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy, and Uro-oncology. The Congress will be supported by the Pakistan Association of Urologic surgeons. This allows us to update all technological innovations in the increasing field of video-endoscopic surgery and focal therapy in Urology. We will demonstrate endourological techniques, laparoscopic surgery, female incontinence surgery as well as transurethral procedure and ESWL. Workshops will be focusing on ureteroscopy, laparoscopy, and percutaneous and female incontinence techniques will allow beginners to be trained by the experts, but will also help experienced urologist to improve their surgical skills. Besides the plenary and sub plenary talks there will be the much appreciated Pro-and-Con-debates will be integrated to stimulate the discussion of `hot topics´ among the delegates. Plenary talks will focus on some major contemporary issues in Endourology by our invited speakers from UK and Mansoura Egypt along with national leaders in endo urology.
