Brightbar

Available in two models:

Large Brightbar is a sealed unit designed for mounting on thenose of the aircraft just below the pilot’s line of sight where itcan be easily seen in his peripheral vision without having to re-focus the eyes. The display is 13.5" x 6" (35 x 15 cm) andconsists of a total of 159 super-extra-bright LEDs. The red andgreen steering bars indicate the direction to steer to the targetswath: cross-track or angle-of-intercept, or both. There is aselectable data display area at each end of the lightbar. OtherLEDs indicate the time to go to the area or exclusion zoneboundary and whether in or out of the area and whether sprayon or off.

Small Brightbar has all the features of the large brightbar butit has been designed for mounting inside the cockpit. Thedisplay is 9.40" x 2.65" (27 x 6.8 cm)

The steering indication is easily adjustable to the usersrequirements.

Smartbar

The Smartbar is suitable for mounting inside the aircraftcockpit.

• Compact Smartbar, with a display area of 9” x 1.75” (23cm x 4.5 cm); ideal for helicopters or short nosed aircraft.

The Smartbar has a graphics display of 1260 ultra-bright LEDsshowing the following:

• Direction to steer to the target swath: cross-track or angle-of-intercept or both. Adjustable sensitivity.

• Distance to the target swath.

• Spray/Spread on/off ($).• Time Line: Graphical indication of the “time to go" to the

area or exclusion zone boundary.

• Four discrete data display areas (see selectable options).

Pilot Indicator 

The Pilot Indicator is a small unit with a LCD display area of6” x 0.5” (15.3 cm x 1.5 cm). Suitable for mounting inside theaircraft for backup to other lightbars, or for primary guidancewhere space is limited as in short nosed aircraft such as theAztec and the DC3, or in helicopters.

It displays the following:

• Direction to steer to the target swath: cross-track or angleof-intercept with adjustable sensitivity.

• Distance to the target swath.

• Spray/Spread on/off ($).

• Four discrete data display areas (see selectable options).

• LN# Target swath num ber.• CLN The swath number closest to the aircraft.

• #OL Total number of swaths in the area.

• LLG Total swath length in the generated area.• ACR The total acres/hectares in the area.

• SPA Total acres (hectares) sprayed/spread.• SW Swath width.

• A/C Number of aircraft in formation.

• TAE Track angle error (0° or 180°).• SPL Distance sprayed/spread in current swath.

• MLT Magnetic line track. 

• APR Application rate: G/Ac. or L/Ha.• FLR Flow rate: G/Min. or L/Min.

•GS Ground speed.

• GT True ground track.

• MGT Magnetic track

• DTG Distance to go to the area boundary.• TTG Time to go to the area boundary.

• XT Cross track: Distance from target swath.• OAI Optimal angle-of-intercept: best angle to the

target swath without overshoot.

• NAI Norm al angle of intercept.• SAT Number of GPS locked satellites.

• COR Time since last differential update.

• GPS Number of locked GPS satellites alternatingWith the time since last differential update,10 seconds each.

DOP STD/HDOP: relative accuracy of GPS.• BLK Blank space.• STM Spray time per pass.

• WPD Distance from/to waypoint.• WP# Waypoint number Destination.

• WTR waypoint track.

• MWT Magnetic waypoint track.
