Judaism:Those who practice Judaism believe in a spiritual afterlife. This higher state is Those who practice Judaism believe in a spiritual afterlife. This higher state is known as The Messianic Age or as Olam Ha-Ba or “The World to Come.” One who is more righteous has a larger share in this afterlife than the aver-age person. Traditional points of view may vary from mystical ones. Some may believe that those who are more righteous will go to Gan Eden. This Garden of Eden is different than the garden where Adam and Eve were. Others go down to Gehinnom or Sheol, a place of suffering and/or torment, similar to what Christians believe as Hell, for up to twelve months to receive punishment what Christians believe as Hell, for up to twelve months to receive punishment by the demons they created by sinning. The extremely wicked remain there where they experience remorse or even cease to exist after the twelve months. Once the Messianic Age arrives, the Messiah starts a perfect world where the righteous dead are resurrected to live in the new world. Mystical Judaism be-lieves that one may be resurrected or reincarnated several times to help “mend the world” or to finish business that was left behind. Overall, those who adhere to Judaism focus more on how they live now and don’t concern them-selves too much about how they may be rewarded in the next life

Scientology:Scientologists believe that humans are “immortal spiritual entities” called Thetans and are degraded from past-life experiences. The scientology church conducts an “audit” of an individual to help free them of traumas that happened in their previous lives in hopes of achieving greater spiritual awareness. Once the high-est rank in the church, the “Sea Organization,” is reached, participants sign a “billion year contract.” This is a commitment to believe they will be reincarnated only as a human and when they are, they will spread Scientology to help clear and free the world.clear and free the world.

Christianity:There are many different Christian denominations. Some of the more recognized Protestant denominations are Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Pentecostal, and Charismatic. Within Catholicism, which does not consideritself a denomination, there are Orthodox, Anglican, Latin Rite, and Independent churches. Within Christianity, there are three major afterlife beliefs.. The first two are held by most Christian religions with the third being usually ascribed to Catholicism: Heaven: A place with no death, mourning, crying or pain that represents life with God. It is a place where believers will experience eternal life.

Hell: A place of eternal suffering associated with constant burning and torment . Hell: A place of eternal suffering associated with constant burning and torment . Hell represents life without God.

Purgatory: A place where a person, who dies in God’s grace and friendship, goes. Because they are still imperfectly purified, they need to receive “Final Pu-rification” by a cleansing fire before they can enter into Heaven. This is differ-ent from eternal punishment in Hell.

So where do you think you’ll go when you die? What do you believe? Death is no respecter of character, culture, or country. Benjamin Franklin said, "The only things certain in life are death and taxes." It is worth seeking the answer to the afterlife question. It is, after all, the one thing we can all count on to happen.
