Pascual scored nine of his 17 points in the third quarter as the Road Warriors erased the bitter memory of being swept by Blackwater Sports in last seasons Foundation Cup finals in a defeat that ended their run of four straight championships.

Its redemption, said championship winning coach Boyet Fernandez. Eight months masakt, hanggang ngayon, pero ngayon natapos na. The pain that happened last season ay na-heal na.

This championship was made possible because of my players. Without them di naman

kami magchchampion. I really also appreciate the management with their support and their trust,he added.

Nigerian center Ola Adeogun also scored 17 points while Garvo Lanete chipped in10 points before he was named as the tournaments MVP, a prize that could boost his stock if he decides to join the PBA Rookie Draft later this year.

Unlike in their 79-75 victory in Game 1 wherein they relied heavily on Kevin Alas and Matt Ganuelas, the Road Warriors had eight players contributing at least seven points.

The San Beda duo of Art dela Cruz and Rome dela Rosa scored five points apiece as NLEX turned a 43-41 halftime lead into a commanding 72-52 advantage, a gap tha

t proved to be difficult for Big Chill to overcome.

Dexter Maiquez scored 18 points while Jeckster Apinan added 10 points and sevenboards for Big Chill, which lost to NLEX in a finals series for the second time.
