Depart Walvis Bay by Private Jet to Arusha, Tanzania. Upon arrival in Arusha, take a short flight by chartered light aircraft to the world famous Serengeti National Park. The open plains spread out as far as the eye can see, so it’s no surprise that the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language meaning, “endless plains”.

Serengeti is also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder; the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains. You can spot many new species of birds, Aardwolf, and it is not unusual to spot lions climbing trees.

Few animals have sparked man’s imagination as much as themighty gorilla. Dian Fossey’s research on the Mountain Gorillasrevealed that they are not fierce beasts, but are generally shy

and gentle creatures with individual personalities and rich social lives. When you spend time with the gorillas in their mountainside habitat, you’ll discover their complex family dynamics. Gorilla families live in groups of anywhere from 2 to 40 individuals, with an average size of 11. A typical family group is led by one silverback male (named for the silver hair that grows on his back as he matures), that serves as the family’s protector, main decision maker and arbitrator of family disputes.

On Wednesday, take a trek to see the fascinating Golden Monkeys which are found in the bamboo forests and who provide an entertaining viewing as they leap from tree to tree. Or, you may opt to take a drive to the bustling markettown of Ruhengeri and visit the community and conservationprojects.

Photography: Lakani World Tours encourages tour participants to take photographs and videos during the tour and submit them to the Lakani Travel Club photography contest or for use in promotional materials. Prices: Lakani World Tours reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs after prices are published, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. Lakani World Tours is under no obligation to provide a breakdown of costs involved in this program.

In regard to credit card payments for travel services to Lakani World Tours the traveler (and or cardholder or the cardholders authorized representative) will hold Lakani World Tours and its employees, independent contractors or representatives harmless for any or all charge-backs exercised by them or their credit card companies, originating from any complaints regarding travel services or involving refund requests of monies paid when insurance was not purchased, or for any reason whereby the traveler did not utilize any portionof the prepaid travel services, or any reasons whatsoever.

Arbitration Resolution: : Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relatingto, any services arranged by Lakani World Tours shall be resolved solely bybinding arbitration in Orange County, California, in accordance with the rulesof the American Arbitration Association. Acceptance of initial travel servicesand payment of monies to Lakani World Tours will constitute agreement bythe traveler(s) of these Terms & Conditions.

California law requires sellers of travel to be bonded. Lakani World Tours is bonded through Great American Insurance and is a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation, TCRC fund.
