in Kenya Africa with us! This flyer is to

help inform you on our School and new

Orphan Home in Bungoma county Kenya.

Jeff Bys , AFM VP and his wife and family

are all volunteering to give their lives and

possessions to the Lord and to the poor of

Kenya! Others are likewise going to serve.

Herein is some of what we are doing and

how you can engage into the Great Com-

mission and service to the needy along with

us.

Arriving December 2016, Jeff and his family

will oversee the construction of our AFM

Orphan Home and assist pastor Kennedy in

our AFM School and Church partnerships.

We need donors to help support our Missionaries. Consider supporting with recurring

monthly gifts if possible of any amount. Missionary support suggestions are $25, $50, $100 or

more per month.

We need donors to adopt children at the School or Orphan home. Only for $15

monthly AFM School kids receive meals, medical, clothing and education. We ask for $25 a month

for anyone wishing to sponsor orphans. They will receive the AFM school and reside at AFM Or-

phan Home, under missionary leadership and care !

We need one time project needs. We need to drill a deep well estimated at $1500; Help for making

bricks for Orphan Home and School; Help buying cloths/uniforms/shoes for our school kids and or-

phans; many other one time unlisted needs. Any amount given to any of these projects is greatly appreci-

ated!

AFM Mercy Foundation School– Founded in partnership with pastor Kennedy Simiyu and his

JFM Churches and elders to provide needed stable elementary education, food, clothing, medical

care and Christian discipleship for the rural poor Children in his areas, many who are orphaned.

Currently about 200 students from 3 years old and up.

12 meals a week. Nutrition needs overseen by Medical doctor.

Elementary classical education, by Christian Kenyan certified teachers.

Onsite Medical Doctor care for preventive and emergency medical care needs.

Uniforms and shoes provided at no extra charge as we have donations to fund.

Pastoral care and Bible teaching by local JFM pastors

AFM Mercy Children’s Home- Our orphan home is just launching. God led Jeff and Stephanie

Bys to move and be ambassadors of love to the poor and orphaned of Kenya! We begin the Home

construction process this Dec/Jan through the generous gifts of the Bys Family and those who

choose to stand with them! This Miracle of Christ’s compassion will help AFM further our hearts

desire to save many poor from perishing, both physically and spiritually! Yet this will be much more

than an Orphan home, but rather About-Face Missions regional base of operations! Here are some

of our immediate goals.

Build the Home. Take in 50 or more orphan children as we are able. Grow them in the wisdom

of Christ. Be the Father and Mother to those who need it most.

Partner with our school next door to improve facilities, provide running water and electricity,

and if the Lord allows expand our support to a second area of JFM Church ministry need!

Teach Bible study methods, model and start many reproducible evangelical Discovery Bible

groups in the communities in partnership with JFM Church leaders.

Oversee all our East Africa partnerships and work to help support them with encouragement,

discipleship and greater love, and develop micro business opportunities in the Churches.

Provide Guest room space for hosting short term or long term Mission guests such as

YOU!

Pray! God wants you to pray. “I

urge you, first of all, to pray for all

people. Ask God to help them;

intercede on their behalf, and give

thanks for them.”—1 Tim 2:1

Get connected and involved. Con-

nect via Facebook, email, phone,

or text with our missionaries going

and others giving! Look for ways

to help.

Give of your time. Be an AFM am-

bassador to help get others knowl-

edgeable and helping, praying. Ask

David or Jeff how you can volun-

teer, either in Kenya or back

home.

Give of your money to help sup-

port our missionaries, our children

and our operational needs. Be

stubbornly committed.

Adopt a child. It changes their

world!
