‘Fantasy mirrors desire. Imagination reshapes it.’ – Mason Cooley

DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL- Bopal, Ahmedabad embarked its 12th year of Strokes-The Art

Exhibition. It has always been an optimum platform to bestow novel opportunity to its amateur

artists to showcase their talent. The exhibition was inaugurated on 14 March 2019.The theme this

year for STROKES 2019 is Fantasize- Wings of your imagination. The exhibition is open for

public viewing from 14 March 2019 to 16 March 2019. The state of art one square foot canvas is

an artistic creation bestowed by our promising mavens from Jr. KG to Class V who have

presented the interpretation of students’ fantasies. Each student had their own unique story to tell

about their insight about what makes them happy. A total of 376 students enthusiastically

participated and showcased their paintings. The exhibition was graced by an eminent special

guest Ms Hemali Faldu, co-founder and director of Jalsa Arts who is also a Creative Director and

Art Director who has worked with renowned artists of the film industry. The guest was euphoric

by the imaginative strokes created by the children and their unique interpretation and

imagination on fantasy. She enthusiastically interacted with the students about their paintings

and the students described it with confidence and zest. The Principal Mr Surender P Sachdeva,

Head mistress Ms Sabina Sawhney and other distinguished dignitaries too visited the exhibition.

They motivated and applauded the student’s creative and artistic skills. The visiting parents and

students were awestruck and elated to see the exquisite creation by our propitious virtuosos.
