Map Date 1/06/2011
Follows existing stream bed with typical channel. Existing constrictions along Blue Spruce Strequires 2 narrow channels on either side of roadway and 7 single 4x10 box culverts. Cleanout of channel and culvert at 274th Street
Diversion of main channel to East of Daggett residences. Cost removed of Dagget culvert.Steel culverts reduce cost on field access road.
Option 1
Option 2 Follows basic option 1, except diverts channel north of Blue Spruce Addition to substantiallyreduce culvert, excavation, restoration and maintenance costs. Vacating and removal of Blue Spruce Street at the diversion channel yields additional reduction in costs by 1 culvert.
Option 3
Increase existing stream capacity and culverts to contain 100 year flows within the channel at least below all lowest adjacent grades: The typical channel is 10 feet wide at the bottom with 4 to1 slope averaging 40 feet wide at the top. Culverts are typically 4x10 double box culverts. Frontier Street would be removed at channel.
