LEONARDO DA VINCI’S FLYING MACHINEThe first recorded attempt at aero space engineering was by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1488. There is no evidence that he built his flying machine.

The G 38 is the first monoplane in history and can carry 6 tons. Being a mono wing increases lift and decreases drag compared to biplanes this was discovered by Hugo Junkers.

1969 BOEING 747

the first flight of a wide-body, turbofan-powered commercial airliner, the 747, one of the most successful aircraft ever produced. It was the largest civilian passenger jet.

1995

The first aircraft to be designed without the use of paper sketches is the Boeing 777. It was completely designed using CAD. The triple 7 was the largest twin engine passenger jet made at that time.
