To increase strength and moisture resistance ofhoneycomb composite sandwich panels,Huntsman manufactures a full range of epoxysyntactics designed specifically for edge sealing.Aircraft manufacturers and repair stations usethese materials to fabricate and refurbish cabincomponents such as overhead baggage bins,floor panels and lavatory cabinets as well as flightcontrol surfaces, nacelles and landing gear doors.

Huntsman edge sealing syntactics are producedin a range of densities to meet the handling andperformance requirements of customers.Products include: Epocast® 1628-A/B and 1629-A/B ultra-low density syntactics, Epocast®

1617-A/B and 1618-A/B low-density syntacticsand Epocast® 89537-A/B and 1652-A/B medium-density syntactics. Huntsman also supplies aone-component epoxy designated Epocast®

1610-A1 ultra-low density syntactic.
