In Partnerschaft mit der Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), startet Etihad Airways eine Serie von Flugzeugen in Sonderlackierungen, die auf ihre wichtigsten internationalen Handelsmärkte und Industriepartner hinweisen und gleichzeitig für Flugziele der Airline werben. „Choose the USA“ ist der Auftakt zu einer Serie von Modellen, die im Fachhandel und über den Herpa Wings Club erhältlich sein werden.

Choose this model as a starting point for a new series. In partnership with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Etihad Airways is launching a series of specially decorated aircraft paying tribute to ADNOC’s key international trading markets, industry partners and destinations served by the airline. “Choose the USA” is the kickoff to a series of models that will be available at retailers and through the Herpa Wings Club.

Lu und Cosmo sind zurück.

Auch nach der Neulackierung der D-AILU durften die bei jüngeren Passagieren beliebten Maskottchen Lu und Cosmo nicht fehlen. Lu trägt nun eine Pilotenuniform, während Cosmo am blauen Heck herunterrutscht. Wer einen Sitzplatz am Fenster über den Tragflächen ergattert, kann den Beiden beim Mitfliegen zuwinken. Herpa bietet diesen besonderen Hingucker gleich in vier Modellversionen an, vom 1:500er Metallmodell bis hin zur großen Ausführung in 1:100.

Lu and Cosmo are back. The two mascots Lu and Cosmo which have become popular among younger travelers also found a new spot on the fuselage of the repainted D-AILU. Lu now wears a pilot’s uniform while Cosmo slides down the aircraft’s blue tail. If you can snatch a window seat above the wings, you can wave at the two of them flying along. Herpa is releasing this eye-catcher in a total of four different model versions, from the die-cast metal version in 1/500 all the way up to a large display version in the 1/100 scale.
