TheobjectiveofthisterminalistomakeAbidjanthestorageandsupplycentreofWestandCentralAfricainoilandpetro-chemicalproducts,aswellastheAfricanquotationcentreofoilproducts.Itwillmakeitpossibleto:• Receive, store and re-export all the crude oils products and most of the
crudesofthesub-region• Increasethestrategicstoragecapacityofalltheoilproductscrudes,including
butane• ManagethestrategicstoragecapacitiesforCôted’Ivoireandthecountriesof
thehinterland• Receive in import large cargo ships inorder to reduce the costof supply in
refined products from countries of the sub-region and the hinterland viawharvesandpipelines
