    Purpose: The purpose of the job is to facilitate learning at a UNISA Regional Centre; through face-to-face and/orvideoconferencing tutorials; on Saturdays and/or weekday evenings in the subjects identified.

    Duties

    Face-to-Face will have the following duties:

    1. Facilitate delivery of tutorial material2. Manage students learning experiences face-to-face3. Facilitate students interactions with their peers face-to-face4. Provide students with the required support face-to-face

    General requir ements: An Honours Degree, with the relevant subject as a major.Ability to work with adult learners.Willingness to undergo training on various aspects of tutoring.Teaching/tutoring experience will be an advantage.Friendly, patient and sensitive to a diversity of studentsSpecific requirements per college are available on the UNISA i-recruitment portal ( see link here below ).

    Not be regarded as an employee of UnisaNot be entitled to any benefits such as medical aid, office space, equipment, leave (including sick leave), in terms of the UNISA conditions of service.

    To be considered as an independent contractor (Face-to-Face tutor), complete the online application form. Motivatewhy you think you should be considered, and submit the following documents below:

    1. A comprehensive curriculum vitae2. Certified copy (within the previous six months) of highest educational qualification3. Certified copy (within the previous six months) of academic transcript4. Certified copy (within the previous six months) of your identity document/passport, residential/ work permit 5. Certified copy (within the previous six months) of SAQA verification of foreign qualifications.
