An amazing success story - first as a joint venture and then as a fully Indian company - Hero MotoCorp is a symbol of India's economic transformation during the past three decades. This year Indian MNC of the Year was awarded to Hero MotoCorp Ltd. and Pawan Munjal, Chairman, Managing Director & CEO, received the award. Rohit Bal, Renowned Fashion Designer, read the citation. Shekhar Gupta, Chairman & Editor in Chief, Printline Media Pvt Ltd announced Dilip Shanghvi, Managing Director, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, as the Entrepreneur of the Year. He said that under his leadership, Sun Pharmaceutical has become the world's 4th largest specialty generics company and the top pharmaceutical company in India. Reading the citation for Emerging Business Leader awarded to Anil Rai Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Havells India Limited, T.V. Mohandas Pai, Sr Vice President, AIMA and Chairperson, Manipal Global Education Services, said that under his visionary leadership, Havells has become an innovative company with substantial market share in every segment that it has entered.
