The readers and distribution of EstravellerReaders

Estraveller,atravelmagazineofEstravel,thebiggesttravelagencyinEstonia,hasbeenpublishedsince2000.ItisstilltheonlymagazineinEstoniawhichinaversatilemannerdealswithdifferentaspectsoftourism,includingmoregeneraltopicsrelatingtotravel.

ForfouryearsalreadyEstravellerhasbeenpublishedsixtimesayearon68-84colourpages.ThemagazinereadersareEstravel’sclientsandbusinesspartners,i.e.,atargetgroupofatleast50000activepeoplewhotravelalotandarefinanciallywelloff.WecansurelyclaimthatthereadersofEstravellerareEstonia’smostactiveconsumers.

DistributionIn2011thecirculationofEstravellerwillbe14000–16000,mostofwhichwillbedeliveredbydirectmail.Tothe

membersofthePlatinumClubandtothereadersresidingoutsideEstoniainenvelopes.MostoftheaddresseesaretheownersofEstravel’sloyalcustomerGoldCard.Thelistisbeingupdatedondaily

bases,accordingtotheclients’consuminghabits.Thenumberofclientsincreaseseverymonth.EstravellerisalsoavailableintheofficesofEstravelthroughoutEstonia.Usuallyalsothenewclientsandpassers-bybecomeloyalcustomersandthereadersofthemagazine.

The Gold CardEstraveller will be delivered to all of the loyal customer Gold Card owners who have purchased something from Estravel within the

last 12 months (more than 11 000 copies, approximately 75% of the circulation). In addition, all the new Gold Card owners will recei-ve the magazine. When delivered home, also the family members become the readers of Estraveller.

The Platinum Club The crème de la crème of Estravel’s clients (up to 550). This status cannot be applied for as Estravel chooses its best and biggest

clients to be the members of this club.

PartnersEstraveller will be delivered to the Gold Card partners (3% of the circulation, appr. 200 copies) – hotels, companies connected with

ports and airports, embassies, companies dealing with tourism, travel agencies and other Estravel’s partners, who usually display the magazine in their waiting-room or lobby.

Business clientsThey will receive the magazine as well (19%, appr. 2000 copies). This includes mostly Estonian companies, state institutions, munici-

palities and the nonprofit sector. Again, one issue is read by several people.
