(ii) Candidates should possess Certificate as Registered Pharmacist having passed two years diploma course with three months training in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India

02.Stenographer-

General Awareness Question will be designed to test the ability of the candidates General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person of 10+2 standard. Technical KnowledgeThe questions will be designed to test the knowledge & competence of the candidates Technical Knowledge as per standard syllabus for the course of Diploma in Pharmacy.

Skill TestSkill Test will be designed to test the practical ability and skill of the candidates in the following fields:-

a) Practical ability of making various Pharmacological Composition like Calamine lotion, Sodi-bi-carb ear drops etc. and dispensing the same.

b) Dispensing drugs as per given prescription to patients.

c) Practical knowledge regarding medical stores procedures.

d) Skill of working on computer.

LOWER DIVISION CLERKSCHEME AND SYLLABUS (1) WRITTEN EXAM (200 MARKS)

(2) TYPING TEST

SCHEME

Written Test ( 200 Marks)

01. The examination will consist of a Written Examination of 200 Marks and Typing Test on Computer.

02. After the written Examination the number of candidates to be called on the basis of merit for the Typing Test shall be in the ratio of 1:5 i.e five times the number of vacancies.

03. Merit of Candidates will be decided on the basis of the total marks scored in the Written Examination subject to qualifying in the typing test.

04. The Typing Test is of qualifying in nature. Failure in the Typing Test shall be failure in the examination.

05. Resolution of Tie Cases Tie cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable until the Tie is resolved.

(i) Date of Birth, with older candidate placed higher.

(ii) Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

TYPING TEST

(1) The Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the examination, will have to indicate their option.

(2) Typing Test will be administered on Computer, to be provided by the Factory/Unit.

Contd. 10/-/10/(3) Candidates opting for English Typing shall have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi Typing shall have typing speed of 30 words per minute on Computer. Thirty five w.p.m. and thirty w.p.m. correspond to 10500 key depressions per hour and 9000 key depressions per hour respectively, The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.

Visually Handicapped candidates (with 40% disability and above) will be provided Passage Dictators for the Typewriting test by the Factory/Unit. The Passage Dictators will read out the passage to the VH candidates within the allotted time period.

(2) MEASUREMENT OF PHYSICAL STANDARDS & ENDURANCE TEST

SCHEME

The sequence of selection tests will be as follows:

1. Written Test

2. Measurement of Physical Standard

3. Endurance Test

After the written test, the number of candidates to be called on the basis of merit for measurement of physical standards test and endurance test shall be in the ration of 1:10 i.e. 10 times the number of vacancies. For the candidates called after written test the measurement of physical standards will be carried out first. Then only those candidates who qualify in the measurement of physical standard shall be subjected to the endurance test. The measurement of physical standards test & endurance test are of qualifying nature only. Failure in any of these tests shall be failure in the examination. Candidates will be recommended for selection on the basis of their marks or merit in the written examination only. (A) Scheme of Written Examination (150 MARKS)

(B) Scheme for Measurement of Physical Standards and Endurance Test

MEASUREMENT OF PHYSICAL STANDARDS AND ENDURANCE TEST-

Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties. This requirement will be tested as under:- 1. Height without shoes 165 Cms. (#)

2. Chest (Unexpanded) - 81.5 cms and Expanded - 85 Cms. (#) 3. Weight 50 kgs minimum.

(#) Concession of 2.5 Cms in height or chest may be allowed for the members of Schedule Castes or Schedule Tribes candidates from Hill areas.

ENDURANCE TEST

1. Carrying A MAN (Fireman lift of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds).

2. Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jumps.)

3. Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.

The sequence of Selection Test will be as follows:

After the Written Examination, the number of candidates to be called on the basis of merit for physical test and screening test of 100 meters running in 15 seconds shall be in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. 10 times the number of vacancies. The physical test & Screening Test are only of qualifying nature but failure in these tests shall be failure in the examination i.e. the candidates who fail in any of these qualifying tests shall not be considered for selection at all. (B) MEASUREMENT OF PHYSICAL STANDARDS AND SCREENING TEST

Must be physically fit for the duties of Durwan as per specified standard indicated below:

01. The examination will consist of a Written Examination of 200 Marks and skill test in Stenography.

02. After the written examination, the number of candidates to be called on the basis of merit for the skill test shall be in the ratio of 1:5 i.e five times the number of vacancies.

03. Merit of Candidates will be decided on the basis of the total marks scored in the Written Examination subject to qualifying in the skill test in Stenography.

04. The skill test is of qualifying in nature. Failure in the skill test shall be failure in the examination.

05. Resolution of Tie Cases Tie cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable until the Tie is resolved.

(i) Date of Birth, with older candidate placed higher.

(ii) Alphabetical order in which the first names of the candidates appear.

SKILL TEST IN STENOGRAPHY:

Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the written examination will only be called for the skill test. The skill test will be of qualifying nature. The candidates will have to appear for the Stenography test. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 80 w.p.m. The matter will have to be transcribed on computer only. The transcription is as follows:

Note:-

1. If the candidates do not indicate the medium of Stenography Test at the relevant place in the Application Form, English wlll be considered as the medium of stenography Test for such candidates and the candidates will not be allowed to change the medium at a subsequent stage.

2. There is no exemption from skill test for any category of candidates.

3. Candidates who opt to take the Stenography test in Hindi will be required to learn English Stenography and vice versa after their appointment.

4. VH candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes for English Shorthand or in 105 minutes for hindi shorthand.

Applicable Age Relaxation:

As per Government orders/instructions, following relaxation in the upper age limits will be given to the candidates for the posts where it is applicable. It is clarified that the age relaxation in the upper age limits will be given to a candidate if the post for his category is available:

The crucial date for determining age limit and educational qualification for the posts mentioned above will be the closing date for submission of on-line application for respective post.

E. HOW TO APPLY:

1. No manual applications would be entertained. The candidates may apply for more than one post, however, separate online applications has to be made for each post. Candidates should read the instructions given in the website carefully before filling up the applications.

2. Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile numbers which should be kept active till the declaration of results.

3. Candidates should first scan their passport photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature.

4. Candidates are advised to preserve the hard copy of scanned photo to be used at the examination stage.

5. Candidates to visit www.ofbindia.gov.in and open the appropriate Online Application Format available in the Recruitment Link for at OFV.

6. Detail process of filling online applications will be available on the website www.ofbindia.gov.in under HOW TO APPLY caption.7. Candidates are advised to be cautious while filling online applications as no change will be entertained once the candidates have finally submitted online applications.

8. After submitting and taking print of the filled online applications, the candidates should then forward it by Registered / Speed post to The General Manager, Ordnance Factory Varangaon. Application should be addressed to The General Manager, Ordnance Factory Varangaon,Tal- Bhusawal, Dist- Jalgaon, Pin-425308.

9. The Online registration will open from and will be closed on . Printed applications will be accepted by the factory up to .

10. The application must be enclosed with the following documents, otherwise, it will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard:

a) Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft for Rs 50/- for General & OBC candidates.

b) No Objection Certificate for candidates already in service in Central Govt. Department/State Govt. Department/Semi- Govt. Department Govt. Servants.

11. Candidates already in service in Central Govt. Department/State Govt. Department/Semi- Govt. Department must submit his/her application through proper channel along with No Objection Certificate from his head of office/Establishment. The last date of receipt of applications will not be extended because of any delay in transmitting the application by the concerned office. Advance copy of the application without through proper channel/No Objection Certificate will not be entertained.

12. No interim query/correspondence of any kind by any means regarding the recruitment process including about the candidature or termination/cancellation of candidature or selection of appointment shall be entertained at any stage on any grounds whatsoever.

13. Ordnance Factory Varangaon will not be responsible for late/non-receipt of printed applications for written test due to postal delay or any other factors and no correspondence on this will be entertained.

14. The General Manager reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies depending upon the actual requirement without any notice and these vacancies are further subject to any subsequent order of Court/MOD/Ordnance Factory Board.

Note- Final Selection of candidates will be subject to successful verification of various qualifying documents such as Discharge certificate in r/o Ex-servicemen, disability certificate for the PHP in the prescribed format etc.

M. GROUNDS FOR REJECTION OF APPLICATIONS The application shall be rejected on the following grounds:-

(i) If the eligibility criteria is not satisfied.

(ii)If the print out application is received after closing date for any reason whatsoever.

(iii) If signature is not appended in the print out application form.

(iv) If Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order is not enclosed or is not crossed.

(V) If the application is not complete in all respect as per the requirement given in the advertisement.

F. Guidelines for Scanning the Photograph & Signature:

Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the specifications (the specification will be available in the website www.ofbindia.gov.in Online application will not be registered unless candidates upload photo & signature as specified.

a) In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear, the candidates application may be rejected.

b) In case the photograph or signature is unclear, the candidates may edit his applications and re-upload his photograph or signature.

G. Proof of Identity to be submitted at the time of examination.

The candidate must bring one photo identity proof such as Passport/Adhar/PAN Card/driving License/Voters card/Bank Passbook with duly attested photograph/identity card issued by school/college/Gazetted officer in the official letter head in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof. The photocopy of identity proof should be submitted along with call letter to the invigilators in the examination hall, failing which or if identity of candidates is in doubt the candidate will not be permitted to appear for the test.

H. General Information:

1. Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for.

2. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid possibility of disconnection/inability/failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.

3. Ordnance Factory Varangaon does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of Ordnance Factory Varangaon.

4. Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only one (completed) application will be retained. Multiple attendance/appearance by a candidate in examination and/interview will be summarily rejected/candidature cancelled.

5. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will

stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated.

6. Candidates are advised to keep their E-mail ID active for receiving advices such as call letters etc.

7. Decisions of Ordnance Factory Varangaon in all matters regarding eligibility, conduct of written examination etc would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

8. If a candidate is working under Central/State Govt./PSUs etc, he must enclose NOC in original from his employer along with his printed application form.

9. Any attempt to bring in any influence will be treated as disqualification.10. The persons elected will be appointed on probation as per the Recruitment Rules for the advertised posts.

11. Selected candidates will be appointed only after verification of his/her character and antecedents and found fit in a medical examination as per OFB pre-appointment medical examination guidelines and on fulfilling of the conditions as per orders of OFB/Govt. of India.

I. APPLICATION FEES:

1. An application fee of Rs 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) is payable by the candidates.

2. SC/ST/XSM/PH candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

3. The application fee is non-refundable.

4. The application fee should be paid through Crossed Indian postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favor of General Manager, Ordnance Factory Varangaon.

5. The postal order should be issued after the date of publication of the advertisement & issuing date of Postal order should be indicated clearly.

J. PAYMENT OF TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE:

The candidates appearing for the written examination shall travel at their own expenses. However, SC/ST candidates shall only once be paid travelling allowance of second class railway/Bus fare, chargeable by the shortest on production of journey details including railway tickets by the shortest route from the address mentioned in the application form.

This concession is not admissible to those SC/ST candidates who are already in service in the Central Govt or in a State Govt. or in PSU etc under the Central/State Govt. including Ordnance Factories Organization.K. Use of Mobile Phones, pagers, calculator or any such devices:

1. Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidatures & disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.

2. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safekeeping cannot be assured.

3. Candidates are not permitted to use or have in possession of calculators in examination premises.
