CITY OF SALEM, ILLINOIS

(1) General: It is the intent of these specifications to provide a comparative basis for thepurchase of chemicals by the City of Salem through April 30, 2022. The City of Salemshall have thirty (30) days to accept or reject any bid other than the lowest bid ifit is inthe City's best interest. All chemicals shall comply with AWWA standards. Pallets shallbe of a sturdy enough nature that transfer by forklift is feasible. Prices must be f.o.b.Salem, Illinois Water treatment Plant.

(4) The City of Salem will periodically issue purchase orders for the delivery of chemicals,and delivery shall be made within seven (7) days of receipt of purchase order.
