What is an adverb?
Korean =부사
An adverb changes the meaning of the verb (동사 ).
It tells us how the verb is done.
What is an adverb?
Some Examples:
I can run.
Verb + Adverb:
I can run fast
What is an adverb?

I can speak English.
Verb + Adverb:
I can speak English well.
She can sing beautifully
He can speak English well
He can move quietly
He cooks badly
OR
He can’t cook well
He runs slowly
He can run quickly
They lived happily
He talks funnily!
They play noisily
How to write?
Usually we add ‘ly’ to the adjective.( 현용사 + ly)
Bad = BadlySlow = SlowlyQuick = QuicklyBeautiful = BeautifullyQuiet = Quietly
How to write?
If the adjective ends in “Y”Delete “Y” and add “ily”
