Kinds of Adverb Clause

1 . Adverb clause of reason :This is a clause in order to show cause or

reason. Adverb clause of reason at the start with conjuction is as/since/because/wheres/on the ground that.

Example : - I stopped the work because I was tired.

2. Adverb clause of timeClause which shows the time, usually made by using a conjuction such as after,before,while,etc. Example : - You may begin when (ever) you are ready.

3. Adverb clause of placeClause which shows the place is usually

made using a conjunction such as where, nowhere, anywhere. Example : - The guard stood where he was positioned.

4.Adverb clause of contast Clause that indicates the exitence of a

conflict between two eventsor events that are related. Usually made by using though,whereas,as the time. Example : - Mary wanted to stop, whereas I wanted to go on.

5. Adverb clause of mannerClause which shows the way how a job is done or events occurs, usually created by using a conjuction such as, how, like. Example : - He did as I told him.

6. Adverb clause of ResultClause which shows the relationship and the purpose, usually made by conjuctions such as (in order) that, so that, to the end that. Example : - She bought a book so that shecould learn english.

7. Adverb clause of Condition Clause which shows the existence of the

conditions between the twoevents (events) are related. Usually made by using conjuction such as if, even if,unless, in th event that, or in the event that,in case,if only. Example : - She would forgive her husband everything, if only he would come back to her.
