SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION: The Adventures of a Lifetime: NYCMFlyaway Sweepstakes courtesy of ASICS, official outfitter of the TCSNew York City Marathon(the Sweepstakes) begins on Monday, August 18,2014 at 9:31 a.m. Pacific Standard Time and ends on Sunday, November 9, 2014at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (the Sweepstakes Period). At the end of theSweepstakes Period, a random drawing will be conducted from among all eligibleentries received to select One (1) Grand Prize winner. Entry in the Sweepstakes

does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes. Byparticipating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agreesto comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sport Chalet,Inc., One Sport Chalet Drive, La Caada, CA 91011, (the Sponsor), ASICSAmerica Corporation and COHEN-FRIEDBERG ASSOCIATES, LLC Framingham,MA 01702 (the Administrator), whose decisions shall be final and legallybinding in all respects.

2. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S. and District of Columbiaresidents (excluding Florida, New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, U.S. VirginIslands and Guam) at the time of entry, and who are eighteen (18) years of age orolder. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, Administrator, ASICS

America Corporation, and each of their affiliated companies, subsidiaries,licensees, distributors, dealers, sales representatives, retailers, printers, individualsengaged in the development, production or distribution of materials, theiradvertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and any and all other companiesassociated with the Sweepstakes agents (collectively, the SweepstakesEntities), and each of their immediate family members (as defined by the IRS)and/or people living in the same household are not eligible to participate. http://sportchalet.com/adventures and click on the Sweepstakes application.Complete the online registration, agree to the Official Rules and submit your entry.During the registration process you may earn bonus entries by sharing theSweepstakes link with a friend. You may earn a bonus entry for each friend thatregisters with your unique link, unlimited bonus entries. Limit: One entry perperson excluding bonus entries.

Action Pass members: Action Pass members will automatically be entered eachtime their Action Pass account is applied during the purchase of any ASICSproductat participating Sport Chalet retail stores or online at www.sportchalet.comduring the Sweepstakes Period. To become an Action Pass member is free; enrollfor the Action Pass program at any Sport Chalet location or online at

www.sportchalet.com. Limit: Enter as often as you like through this method ofentry.

In-Store Entry: You may enter by completing and depositing an entry form foundon displays at participating Sport Chalet retail stores during the Promotion Period.Limit:One entry per person.

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by 11/9/14 to be received no later

than 11/15/14. No photocopies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions will beaccepted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, illegible,incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, or postage due entries or mail. Limit: Enter as oftenas you like by mail.

NOTE: Entry must be made by the entrant only. Entries made by any otherindividual or any entity, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakessubscription notification and/or entering services, will be declared invalid anddisqualified for this Sweepstakes. One (1) Grand Prize (there are two parts to this Grand Prize):A) Trip for two (2) to the ASICS Headquarters in Irvine, California. Prize

includes the following: Roundtrip air transportation (for two) to Irvine, CA from a major airport

nearest the winners home address. If the winner lives in Southern California,no transportation will be included.

Three (3) nights hotel accommodations. Winner and his/her guest to receive a private tour of the ASICS Headquarters

and a sneak peek into the design and development of ASICS products. Winner is eligible to participate in a 16 week Custom built training plan based

on current fitness level and personal run goals One day Mammoth minialtitude marathon training camp guided by Coach Kastor. Training would startin mid-July 2015 and run for sixteen (16) weeks.

Winner will be requested to submit weekly recap of their training for CoachKastors review.

Coach Kastor to submit monthly training plans based on submitted weeklyrecaps.

Coach Kastor to schedule 2-3 phone calls during the training cycle to providea more personal touch and review real time (FaceTime/Skype).

Winner to receive ASICS footwear and apparel (not to exceed $400) for the16-week training process.

Approximate retail value of this Prize package (A) not to exceed $1,200.

B) Trip for two (2) to the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon. Prize

includes the following:

Two (2) roundtrip air transportation to New York from a major airport nearestthe winners home address.

Two (2) nights (double occupancy) hotel accommodations. VIP ASICS TCS New York City MarathonEvent Experience: Participation

in ASICS sponsored race week events and ASICS Event Experience withathletes and staff.

Approximate retail value of the travel portion not to exceed $3,600.

Total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize package (the Prize) not to exceed

$4,800.

Travel (when applicable) includes round-trip economy class airfare and includescarrier and government-imposed taxes and fees including the September 11thSecurity Fee. Travel is subject to availability and cannot be combined with any otherdiscount/promotion.

Prize is provided on an as is basis, without any warranty of any kind. Prize is non-transferable. Prize may not be redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to

substitute a Prize (or portion thereof) of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize (orportion thereof) becomes unavailable.

With respect to Prizes that include accommodations and/or airfare, the request fordesired travel dates must be made in writing to the designated representative via emailno later than thirty (30) days prior to desired travel date. Accommodations and air

transportation are all subject to availability and Sponsor cannot guarantee theaccommodation of requested dates. Winner and his/her guest must travel on the sameitinerary and on the same dates.

Air transportation shall be by coach class roundtrip from a major gateway to thelocation of the Prize, and all such travel arrangements will be made by a designatedrepresentative whose decisions regarding the itinerary are final and binding. Selection ofairline and airport shall be at the discretion of Sponsor or any other provider of anyportion of the Prize. Trip winner and his/her travel companion must have valid traveldocuments (e.g., government issued I.D., passport, along with any other traveldocuments in order to travel prior to departure, and failure to do so may result inforfeiture of Prize. Winner and his/her travel companion are solely responsible for

satisfying all legally required conditions of travel. Sponsor is not liable for any expensesincurred as a consequence of flight cancellation or delay or any weather or airline issuesthat prevent the prize winner and his/her travel companion, if applicable, from traveling,in which event any missed portion of the Prize is forfeited in its entirety and nosubstitution will be provided.

Prize winner is responsible for any and all applicable fees, service charges,surcharges or passenger facility charges, all insurance, federal, state, and local taxes, ifany, gratuities, meals, incidental charges and any other unspecified expensesassociated with acceptance or use of the Prize.All estimated retail values are subject to change based on, among other things,normal price fluctuations associated with the travel in the marketplace and date of

departure.

PRIZE NOTE: In the event the Prize winner or his/her guest engages in behavior that(as determined by the Sponsor or Sponsors representative and in their sole discretion),is obnoxious or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten orharass any other person, Sponsor or the Sponsors representative reserves the right toterminate the experience, in whole or in part, with no further compensation.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: A random Sweepstakes drawing to beconducted on or about November 17, 2014 from all eligible entries receivedthroughout the Sweepstakes Period. Conduct of the Sweepstakes and the drawingare under the supervision of the Administrator. Potential prize winner will be notified

by phone and/or by email or mail or express mail, whichever is deemed appropriateby the Administrator, using the contact information provided at the time of entry.Sponsor shall have no liability for any potential prize winner notification that is lost,intercepted or not received by any potential prize winner for any reason. If, despitereasonable efforts, any potential prize winner does not respond within four (4) daysof the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is returned as unclaimed orundeliverable to such potential prize winner, such potential prize winner will forfeit hisor her Prize and an alternate winner may be selected. If any potential prize winner isfound to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rulesor

declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will bedisqualified and an alternate prize winner may be selected. Sponsor maysuccessively attempt to contact up to two (2) alternate potential winners inaccordance with the above procedure, and if there is still no confirmed winner aftersuch attempts have been made, the applicable Prize may go unawarded.

6. GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/CONDITIONS: Prize winner shall be solelyresponsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and the reportingconsequences thereof, sales tax, surcharges, service charges, delivery, processingand handling fees, and all other costs incurred in claiming the Prize. Potentialprize winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release,and (where legal) a Publicity Release plus an ASICS Release to participate in anyPrize related activities (collectively, Prize Claim Documents). If a winner fails orrefuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within four (4) days of Prizenotification, the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may beselected.

Entrants agree that Sweepstakes Entities (A) shall not be responsible or liable for

any losses, damages or injuries of any kind including death resulting fromparticipation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity, or fromentrants acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any Prize, and(B) have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for anywarranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, withrespect to any Prize, including, without limitation, to such Prizes quality or fitnessfor a particular purpose. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in additionto signing any release documents required by the Prize supplier or its designee.Prize winner and his/her guest acknowledge that they are participating in a sportactivity (the "Event") at their own risk, and understand that in the course of theirparticipation in the Event they may have the opportunity to engage in variousactivities which may be considered to be dangerous, embarrassing and/or

humiliating. Each knowingly consents to participate in any or all such activitiesunder their own free will and without duress or under the influence of any thirdparty, and acknowledge the inherent and unexpected dangerous, embarrassingand/or humiliating conditions involved with such participation.Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties,express or implied, concerning any Prize furnished in connection with theSweepstakes. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING,SUCH PRIZES ARE PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALLSUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARPURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. PUBLICITY RELEASE: Acceptance of any Prize constitutes prize winner'spermission for the Sweepstakes Entities to use prize winner's name, photograph,likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and complete address(collectively, the "Attributes"), for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwideand in all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, withoutfurther compensation or authorization, (except where prohibited by law), andreleases the Sweepstakes Entities from all claims arising out of the use of suchAttributes.

8. DISQUALIFICATION/FORCE MAJEURE: Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late,mutilated, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, or postage duesubmissions or Prize notifications. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretionto disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process orthe operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules,

or to be acting in an unsportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with the intent todisrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy,abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right toseek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extentpermitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged,software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted. Sponsorreserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if itdetermines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired orcorrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or othercauses beyond Sponsors control have destroyed or severely undermined or to anydegree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibilityof the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. In the event an insufficient number of

eligible entries are received and/or Sponsor is prevented from awarding Prizes orcontinuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond itscontrol, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic ofhealth of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God orpublic enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threator activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local governmentlaw, order, or regulation, public health crisis (e.g. SARS), order of any court or

jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsors control (each a ForceMajeure event or occurrence), then Sponsor shall have the right to modify,suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated beforethe designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the winner in a randomdrawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event

giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrantssole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Only the type and quantityof Prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded. If, for any reason, morebona fide winners come forward seeking to claim Prizes in excess of the number ofeach type of Prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remainingwinners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of Prizes available in thePrize category in question may be selected in a random drawing from among allpersons making purportedly valid claims for such Prize(s). These Official Rulescannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued inaccordance with law by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidityor unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity orenforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined

to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwiseremain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if theinvalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

9. GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION: ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONSCONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION ANDENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS ANDOBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THESWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN

ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIAWITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OF CONFLICT OF LAWRULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANYOTHER STATES LAWS.

10. ARBITRATION PROVISION: By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant

agrees that any and all disputes the entrant may have with, or claims entrant mayhave against, the Sweepstakes Entities relating to, arising out of or connected inany way with (i) the Sweepstakes, (ii) the awarding or redemption of any Prize,and/or (iii) the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement toarbitrate, will be resolved individually and exclusively by final and bindingarbitration administered by the National Arbitration Forum (the Forum) andconducted before a sole arbitrator pursuant to the Code of Procedure establishedby the Forum. The arbitration shall be held at a location determined by the Forumpursuant to the Code of Procedure, or at such other location as may be mutuallyagreed by the participant and Sponsor. The arbitrators decision shall be controlledby the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and any of the otheragreements referenced herein that the applicable participant may have entered

into in connection with the Sweepstakes. There shall be no authority for any claimsto be arbitrated on a class or representative basis; arbitration can decide only theparticipants and/or Sponsors individual claims and the arbitrator may notconsolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarlysituated. The arbitrator shall not have the power to award punitive damagesagainst the participant or Sponsor. For more information on the Forum and/or theForum's Code of Procedure, please visit their website at www.arb-forum.com. Ifany part of this Arbitration Provision is deemed to be invalid or otherwiseunenforceable or illegal, the balance of this Arbitration Provision shall remain ineffect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid or illegalprovision were not contained herein.
