Our adventure experiences are designed to be inclusive and fun, whatever your age. Whether your child chooses a kids only camp or wishes to invite their parents along for the ride with our new family adventures, there’s a holiday experience for everyone at Kingswood Camps.

We want to ensure that our young visitors are always having fun and are confident to try new challenges, which is why our camps deliver age-specific activities to cater for every individual, from first timers to regular campers and young adults.

Our camps allow young adventurers to spread their wings, make new friends and discover new skills in our ‘home away from home’ atmosphere.

11-14We give young teens the opportunity to embrace every aspect of camp life, from sharing dorms to scaling climbing towers, while developing valuable life skills and building self-esteem.

15-17Our camps provide a place for adrenaline junkies and fun-lovers to experience extreme challenges and a fantastic selection of evening entertainment, while chilling out with new friends. During the summer we also run an exclusive teen camp at Overstrand Hall for over 15s.

Our family adventures are designed around a two day programme of fun and excitement to give parents the opportunity to bond with their children while trying out new activities that they wouldn’t find at home. Our adventures are also intended to be an immersive experience, giving families the opportunity to meet new friends in unique, outdoor environments.

ARRIVAL DAY:• Arrival from 4.00pm, giving you plenty of time to settle in and tour the site• Evening dinner • Your first family activity - Zipwire

FULL DAY:• Breakfast before your day of adventure• Laser games, archery and bushcraft shelter building • Break for lunch• Spend the afternoon raft building, problem solving or on the 3G swing• Evening dinner• After your meal, you can join our other families to relax by our campfire,

EASTER BREAKSAn adventure break in the Easter holidays will see families staying in our dormitories accommodation. Each family will be allocated an en-suite room sleeping 2-4 in bunk beds.

SUMMER BREAKSOur brand new Adventure Lodges are the highest quality safari tents, providing a comfortable and secure base for families during the summer months. Visitors will share the lodges camp with other families offering a close community feel with campfire areas, perfect for bonding in the evening.

At Kingswood we think the more the merrier, and our family adventure weekends are a great opportunity to get together with friends or family. Large Adventure Lodges are available for bigger groups, perfect for bringing family and friends along for the adventure. We also offer smaller lodges and private rooms in large lodges for smaller groups.

We carry out risk assessments and detailed inspections for all our camp facilities. Our DBS checked staff receive rigorous training and we regularly review our safety policies to ensure they are up to date and comply with best practice.

The Kingswood Camps experience is all about having fun and being part of something special. Feeling safe and cared for is vital in achieving this, so maintaining the highest standards of supervision and pastoral care are our priority.

On Family Adventure breaks, parents too are advised to supervise their children at all times.
