    For your safety and the safety of the cave you must be accompanied by a World Heritage Park Guide.

    Adventure caving involves varying degrees of difficulty. All participants require a reasonable level of physical fitness

    and the ability to be underground in small dark places. Caving at ulu often involves !ading across rivers orstreams" squee#ing bet!een rocks and crevices" s!imming through underground rivers" and of course" gettingcovered in dirt.Caves have been rated as beginners" intermediate and advanced. $isitors to those caves !ith an %advanced& ratingrequire previous e'perience.     helmets and torches you scramble over boulders and along ancient rivers beds. 2'perience the thrill of seeing this

    this cave !hich makes this is a great adventure" ideal for family groups.

    1his often depends on the si#e of the group" the more people in the group the longer it !ill take (the ma'imum is 3*-ights and helmets are provided but you !ill get muddy so bring old clothes and good !alking shoes. 1he guide !illlead you through the cave climbing up and do!n the passage!ays !ith the aid of ropes. 1his cave can require someupper body strength but most people are successful. 2n4oy the great feeling that comes !ith discovering yourabilities and meeting a physical challenge.

    CLEAR+ATER CONNECTION Advance -evel. (not suitable for children under 3 years of age and allparticipant must be able to s!im*-ength 0 appro'. .Bkm.

    1his trip is relatively long (.B kilometres* and depending on levels of fitness takes bet!een to B hours. 1he largerthe number of people in the group the longer the trip !ill take (up to 8 hours*.

    1he tour begins in the sho! cave section of Wind Cave before leaving the constructed trail and moving into a !ildcave chamber off of the ings Chamber in Wind Cave. 1he route taken is over highly broken terrain that includesstre!n boulders and requires some climbing up and clambering do!n short faces. Areas that are ha#ardous havefi'ed ropes attached and guides carry personal ropes to assist visitors in short sections that require climbing. 1hetour continues on for about one kilometre before arriving at the sho! cave section of Clear!ater Cave. For many the

    river is the highlight of the tour being e'ceptionally beautiful and refreshing follo!ing the hard caving .

    ?e! tour for )ara!ak Chamber !ill require you to stay night at Camp .

    )ara!ak Chamber is a particularly challenging tour even for visitors that have good fitness and are e'periencedcavers. 1he tour takes / days night" beginning from park headquarters" follo!ing the )ummit 1rail up to!ards thesouthern side of Gunung Api. 1he trail takes appro'imately three hours before reaching the mouth of Gua ?asib7agus (Good -uck Cave*. 7efore entering the cave" the guide must assess the !ater levels at the cave mouth ashigh !ater levels make it unsafe. ,f the !ater levels are too high" the tour !ill be cancelled and the group returns topark headquarters.

    ,f the !ater level is lo! enough the tour proceeds for appro'imately B88 metres along a river channel !ith sheer rockfaces rising to about 58 metres on either side. 1o!ards the end of the river there is a traverse" using fi'ed ropes" ofappro'imately /88 metres. Follo!ing the traverse the tour then proceeds up a steep boulder slope to the chamberitself. 1he chamber is pitched at a steep angle and the floor is covered in boulders. 1he tour stops at the mouth ofthe chamber.

    nothing but a large black space. ,t is too large to be lit by any torch light.
