• We serve students from preschool – 8th grade.
• Located on a beautiful campus which allows families the opportunity to enroll their child/children at the preschool and have them continue through 12th grade at our high school, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin (NDCL), on the same campus.
• Proud to have received the 2014 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
Notre Dame Elementary School
• We work as a team.• We communicate our mission as a team:• Notre Dame Elementary School is a catholic school that educates children
according to the educational vision and principles of the Sisters of Notre Dame.• We are extremely blessed to be connected to, as well as supported by, the
Sisters of Notre Dame.
Team Work
• We invite families to attend a planned monthly tour of the school, or they are welcome to call me and schedule a tour for a time that works best for them.
• We are complimented by many visiting families on the welcoming and nurturing environment.
• The best compliment we can receive are referrals from our current families.
School Tours
Student Shadow Days
• We encourage families interested in our school to have their children spend a day shadowing at NDES.
• They spend the day with us in their current grade level and are assisted by one of our students for the day.
• We treat them to lunch and they are given the opportunity to participate in all of the day’s activities.
• At the end of the day, they are given a gift from us to take home with them.
• Follow up with the family the next day.
• The class in which the child shadowed creates a card from the teacher and students that is sent to them.

Student Acceptance
• Acceptance of new students:
• A reading, writing and math assessment test is required for all children presently in grades 3-7.
• This is used to help us evaluate them in these particular subjects, and determine if any additional support may be needed.
• We also review each student’s most current records, such as report cards and standardized test scores.
• Retention is just as important as recruitment.
• Talking, listening and maintaining open communication channels with families.
